A bright light suddenly
Bathes me in its
Illumination. What is it?
It doesn't hurt to look at it.
Is it the passage to Heaven?
Am I saved?

A figure walks out with angel wings.
It is! Oh, it is! The angel stands there...
Reaching out of me.
I reach for her hand and clasp it.
The goodness from this angel melted
Away my darkness.

Purged the evil inside.
I could live again.
Kneeling down to beg for
Redemption...
She shook her head and
Motioned me to rise.

I look into her eyes...
Such peace, such beauty.
She gently kissed my brow.
At that moment, time stood still.
A tear ran down my cheek.
She lead me into the Light.

I knew at that moment on,
I knew all the questions and answers.
As I watched my old body wither and fade..
I knew somehow, someway
My prayers had been answered,
I had finally found my peace, I was redeemed.
