Prologue: The Painful Farewell\BackGround Info
The young mother cried out as her child was brutally taken away from her. The phantoms, otherwise knows as the carriers of death roughly threw the crying mother aside. One of the phantoms held the woman back as she stubbornly tried to get to her crying baby. The woman had given birth to a gifted child. A child made purely of light and goodness, a child who's innocence and inner beauty (exterior as well) radiated a soul untainted by darkness and evil. All children born without darkness, were to be given as a sacrifice to great Shinigami. The God of death who was worshipped in this time. A child of light was unheardful, for there's never was a child who had a truly pure soul physically and mentally. So children who seemed good and innocent were sacrificed, event was ongoing and it angered the God Shinigami that he was never given a pure child so the people were always punished with dieases, famine, plagues, Fires, Storms, and other horrors unimaginable. What will happen to this child? Has Yami become like his father, that it makes no difference rather he's the true giver of death or not? People lost all hope and many stopped having children, so the legacy of Shinigami had to move greater distances till children from every continent even under the depths of sea were sacrificed to the cruel God. But there was hope for the people, Shinigami fell in love when the God was reborn as a human being as a punishment for his crimes and had a child named Yami. This child was trained to be a cruel leader as his father but managed to keep some kindness within him. Yami tried to help the people and persuade his father to change his ways but he was ignored especially when mortal Shinigami died with his lover and left Yami (a demigod) alone to take the throne of cruelty.
Yami was cursed to cause suffering as his father for he was born from the darkness of evil and the passion of love. These two emotions didn't mix, as a mortal and an immortal shouldn't mix. This bond caused chaos and Yami to be cursed to forever bring death and never be completely whole till he found true love as his father did and endured suffering of his own. For Yami was pampered his entire life and incredablely loved by his parents. He grew arrogant and gained a short temper due to getting anything he wanted and occasions when he didn't and Hell broke lose.
This is where this story takes place in a time of chaos and turmoil. Where a young child born of light will meet a demigod and save a dying world.
