THE TEST PAPER

Life was just easy, looking around while enjoying the summer breeze, drinking my usual black coffe in my usual spot in the aracde where my best buddy works. All is well and peaceful until…

...She came into my life.

Funny, how a little girl with crystal blue eyes can make me lose my control whenever I face her. She is the jolliest person I've ever seen and whenever I look at her, all I want is to be with her and enjoy life's greatest gift…being in love and being loved in return.

People think that we are the most unusual couple. She is a ditzy girl who never loses her sunny disposition in spite of the problems she faces. I, on the other hand is the cold person people think that I am. I have few friends while she had lots of them. Whenever we see each other, all hell breaks lose! Find a safe spot to hide because once we start to argue, there in no ending to that.

But that was just a façade to hide my true feelings for her. The moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew something good will spark between us. Of course, you do not expect me to tell her that I've fallen madly in love with her during our first meeting. I believe that we have to make sure of what our feelings tell us so that we will not end hurting other people. So that's what I did. Every time we bicker with each other, I knew I was falling and falling for her. I just realized that I want to spend the rest of my life with her, seeing her smile while I lock her in a tight embrace.

Now, I am happy that we ended up as a couple. We have our own share of difficulties but that is part of any kind of relationship. Without those impediments, life will just be too simple and thsese onstacles are things that bind us, hold our relationhip together. It makes us stronger.

Sitting here in the balcony while staring at the blue sky, I heard the door of our room open. I shifted my gaze to the lovely woman who willingly accepted my flaws, my personality, my whole being. I love her more than my own life and I am willing to risk anything even my own happiness just for her safety. She is the woman who held my heart even before I was born. Her name will forever be written in my heart and soul for she has been the only who stood by my side through thick and thin.

I love her…I love Usako…

"Mamo-chan, what are you doing?' She asked while taking the seat beside me. I quickly locked her in an embrace and kissed her cheek.

"Nothing, just spacing out…" I replied while inhaling the scent of her hair.

"I put Chibiusa to sleep now. Gee, she got your agility."

"I think she got you hyper-activeness."

"By the way, I came across my old things in the attic while I was cleaning it earlier. I saw this." She handed me a brownish crumpled paper. It was her Math test back in high school and she scored 30 over 100.

"Its your Math exam."

"I know, but if it wasn't for this piece of paper, I would not meet you."

And that was all I could take…I had to kiss her. She can even remember the little details of how we first met. When we broke from the kiss, I took the piece of paper from her and placed it on the book beside me.

"I will keep it…It has a sentimental value for me. After all if it wan't for that little devil, I wouldn't meet my princess."

She smiled, ah! The smile meant for me. I am glad I have her smile to guide me always.
