The ones eaten by jealousy
Their throats clawed out,
Their eyes raw and bloody
Those who shed bitter tears over lost love

I am not one to die inside
Crumpling souls
They seem to throw them into waste bins

I am not scared of losing what was never mine
And by extension
I am not afraid

He's a puppy chasing a cat

But those wide eyes
have pulled me into this
