The moon shone down on the man leading his dog along the sidewalk.
The spaniel turned and looked over at the old Meade place, growling softly.
Paul glanced over, frowned. What was that car doing parked out front?
The bay window suddenly exploded, showers of glass and splinters of wood littering the lawn. Two men had leapt through the panes to avoid the piano which now hung drunkenly through a gaping hole.
Man and dog just stared. The pair got up from the grass, brushing away debris.
"I TOLD you it was a poltergeist!"
"Fine, Sam –ow- you told me…"
