Good morning beautiful, how was your night
Mine was wonderful with you by my side
And when I open my eyes and see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day

"Good morning," he said rolling over and nearly squishing his wife. "How was your night?"

She laughed and attempted to push him off. He refused to budge.

"Mine was wonderful," he said, gazing at her face.

She laughed again and attempted to push him off once more before rolling right on top of him.

I couldn't see the light
I didn't know day from night
I had no reason to care
But since you came along
I can face the dawn
'cuz I know you'll be there

He had been unable to deal with everything until she came along. He had been unable to care but she changed it all. Once he had her in his life, she was his reason for waking up every morning. She would always be there.

Good morning beautiful, how was your night
Mine was wonderful with you by my side
And when I open my eyes and see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day

It was his habit now to wake her up and ask her how her night was. He always told her that his night was wonderful.

I never worry if it's raining outside
'cuz in here with you, girl, the sun always shines

He still worried but she helped make the burden easier to bear. She was truly his sunshine and he would never worry about her.

"Good morning beautiful; how was your night?" he asked her.

Mine was wonderful with you by my side

"Wonderful," she replied.

And when I open my eyes and see your sweet face

"It's a good morning beautiful day," he told her.

Good morning beautiful day
