Summary: Arthur's thoughts when he learns of Merlin's powers.
Author's notes: Here it is, my very first Drabble!! It has always fascinated me that one could write a story in 100 words. I never thought I could do it because I love writing emotions and that can get wordy if you want to convey it right. Anyway, I challenged myself to figure out a moment to write about and do it in the 100 words, and I finally did it. Hope you enjoy!

His heart shattered.
He couldn't believe it. Lies. Why was it always lies?
His father bred him for leadership. Trust was a luxury they couldn't afford. His father taught him that hard lesson early on.
But he had thought he had finally found someone he could trust. Someone to confide in.
Lost. Gone. Shattered. The friend he knew was a lie.
He was surprised to find that the lie had hurt more than the reality. Sorcerer or not, everyone around him pretended to be something else. A father. A sister. A servant.
Lies. No truth. No trust.
He was alone.
