Prologue
July 15
"OPEN UP YOU'RE UNDER ARREST"
I hear them through the door, I have to hurry they can't find out. I have to find a safe place for him, they can't know. They can't, they'll kill him. I pick up a small bundle and start running through the back of the house. Behind me I hear them barge into my home. The second division is after me.
"THERE SHE IS!"
They are following closely but I am almost to the Shenkimon just a little farther and then I am in the human world.
"FREEZE CEASE AND ASSIST"
They are too late I am already at the Shenkimon. Once through I am home free or at least in the human world. Once through I quickly close the Shenkimon so that they cannot follow. I hear crying through the bundle. I open up the flap and look at my day old son.
"Shhhh its ok its ok mommy's here mommy will protect you" I told him
As much as it breaks my heart, my baby can't stay with me. I know that they won't stop until they find me, as such I have to give up my baby. At least I know who will love him and care for him, my little sister. Closing my eyes looking for her Spiritual Pressure, after a few minutes I found it. I start running, saying comforting words to my baby: I made it and as far as I can tell no one followed, good.
At the Hospital the Tenth room Checked:
"Zarya what are you doing here?" I hear Masaki ask me as I enter her room in the hospital
"Masaki thank heavens I found you." I told her relief evident in my voice
"Zarya what happened?" she questioned worry in her voice
"I need you to take care of him."
"Who?"
I show her my baby who is still wrapped in a bundle, Masaki gasps
"But how I didn't even know you were pregnant."
"That was the idea I can't let anyone know about him I need you to take care of him for me."
Masaki takes a hold of my son and holds him
"Why?"
"I made a mistake please Masaki you are the only one I can trust please listen I know you already had a baby, evident by you being in the hospital and where pregnant for a few hours but I need you to do this for me."
"I don't have one"
"Huh?"
"My baby, i-it died the doctors could only save one of us and the baby had a less of a chance then me so they chose me."
"Oh Masaki I am sorry" I say as I hug her
"Please don't be, I have accepted it."
"Does Isshin know?"
"No he doesn't."
"Then can you take him please."
"Yes I will take him."
"Thank you thank you." I kiss my baby on the head and take of my necklace and put it around his neck. As I start to leave through the window I hear Masaki once again.
"Wait Zarya."
"Hmmm?"
"What is his name?"
"Ichigo."
"Strawberry?"
"No remember 'He who protects'" with that I leave knowing that he is in safe hands with Masaki. Isshin well I hope Ichigo won't become a hooligan. I look up at the hospital window relieved with the knowledge that Masaki has my little ichi safe and sound.
"Happy Birthday Ichigo I will love you forever and maybe someday I will see you again."
Geez that was long my first ever bleach thing so I hope you like it
The idea came from Ichigo family Ichigo looks nothing like his family so I was thinking that maybe he had a different mom and dad and that his mom gave him to Masaki when he was a baby and Masaki took him in because they were related so Masaki is his aunt and Isshin his Uncle
