My Midnight Remedy
Big thank you to myself and the QueenofSerpents. Thanks! (: This is a one-shot. And it's not really that great. I have to admit that it is actually terrible. Sigh. I just hope no one is disappointed reading this. Oh yeah, if I forgot to tell you, no flames are allowed. NO FLAMES AT ALL. But if you insist on flaming, your flames will either be laughed at or ignored. Thanks. Now, on to the story…
:Ready? Go!:
"Hikaru. Why are you doing this? Why? Why…" Lantis's voice died out slowly.
Hikaru looked down at her hands. They were covered in crimsom red blood. Lantis's blood. Hikaru looked around frantically, terrified of her surroundings.
"No. No. NO! "
-End of dream-
Hikaru screamed as she bolted up. Beads of sweat trickled down her forehead.
"Just a nightmare…" Hikaru said, relieved.
Hikaru looked out of the window and sighed.
"What's wrong with me? I've been having nightmares every night for a week now," Hikaru whispered to herself. Just then, footsteps could be heard from outside. The door handle slowly turned.
"Who's there?" Hikaru said as her suspicion rose.
The door clicked open, revealing Lantis.
"Oh. It's you," Hikaru said with a sigh of relief.
"I heard you scream earlier on. Is everything alright?" Lantis said frantically.
"Yeah. Just fine. It was just a nightmare," Hikaru answered.
"Oh. Hikaru, are you feeling fine? You've been having nightmares recently," Lantis said concernly.
"I don't know. Maybe it's just because of the stress," Hikaru said, sighing.
"Would you… Would you mind if I stay here? You know, just in case," Lantis asked sheepishly.
"Err… yeah. I guess…" Hikaru answered.
Hikaru's gaze caught Lantis's. The distance between Hikaru and Lantis shortened. Soon, Hikaru could feel Lantis's breath against her cheek. Then, she felt warm lips capture hers. They both fell on the bed with a plonk. (: Hikaru broke the kiss and looked to her alarm clock. Midnight…
Hikaru felt those wet lips of the man she loved capture hers again. Inside her heart, Hikaru thanked Lantis… for giving her her midnight remedy…
