LokixOC One-shot. Set in the second movie, before the prison break but after he spoke with Odin.
Silence filled the room as Loki stared at the hooded woman on the other side of the wall in his prison cell.
He couldn't see her face at all, as the darkness caused him only to see her shape, her hood. But she could see him just fine, which he didn't find very fair.
She stayed silent for the longest time, just staring into his eyes, he guessed, while he stared into the abyss that was her hood.
Finally he couldn't take it any more, and asked the question that was on his mind.
"Who are you?"
She stared up at Loki and raised a pale hand with gold fingernails up, lightly touching the glass like walls of his cage, seemingly not caring about the pain.
When she spoke, her voice naturally echoed and trembled, like a glitching AI voice.
"Does it really matter?"
Loki put the book that he had been holding down and walked closer to the wall, kneeling and trying to see into the abyss.
If he didn't stay careful, she would leave, and he would be alone.
"You are a king to me." She suddenly said, still in her echoed voice, but it wasn't trembling in fear. Like this was an outlet of some sort, she was speaking from somewhere else.
It sounded like his brain wasn't truly understanding the waves her voice sent.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
She stayed silent as her pale hand left the wall and went back into her dark shrouds.
"I am from another realm-."
"Which one?" He interrupted, and the woman took a step back.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. Please don't go." Loki said once she started turning to the exits. She hesitated, then turned back to the glass, going forward again.
"The 10th realm. The Forgotten one. I need to be forgiven for my sins.
Loki watched with wide eyes as she took a step forward and took off her hood.
She had dark red hair and gold eyes, with a blue tooth in her right ear with a microphone shooting out towards her mouth. A green glass was over her left eye with blurred out and backwards data dancing around it.
"Loki, I am here to help you." She hesitated, then stepped through the wall with a burst of purple light, the same color as her dark purple hood.
"My name is Liz." She shook Loki's hand.
"And I'm here to guide you." She disappeared in a flurry of purple, a watch with a note falling onto the floor.
Loki stooped down and picked it up, putting on the watch and reading the note.
'Press the green button if you need anything or if you are lonely. I'm here to help. The red button ends a call. Don't touch the black button unless you are in dire need to save someone you love. It gives you unimaginable powers that could kill you after you use them.'
Loki looked down at the watch and shut his eyes, stuffing the note into his pocket and smiling slightly.
He was getting out.
And he was getting out soon.
