auteur note: This is the first time I wrote for the Potterverse and the second time I wrote a fic in English. It is not my first language so there is certainly some (a lot of) mistakes. (so please, don't be too strict but do not hesitate to tell me were they are so I can improve. ^^)
It's not exactly a fic, just a little thing that popped in my head and I wanted to share it.
Oh! And Thank you very much for Aisrikawaii who corrected some mistakes and helped me with tenses and grammar. (and thank you for CRAmber who pointed out some mistakes).
Disclamer: I own nothing. I just play with the wonderfull universe of Harry Potter created by J.K Rowling. And for nothing.
warning: AU with Guardian!severus and Kid!Harry (because even if it me be a little OOC, I very like it.^^)
Little tale of Tall and Toddler
Snape snorted slightly as Harry sat on his lap.
He stood and watched, then took him in his arms
And with the boy he caught, he walked to the room they shared
then sweetly put him there on the toddler's bed.
"Time for a nap, child. And be glad.
I'll be back late but worry not, for I am right around."
He came back to his lab, a soft smile still on his face.
In that cave, there is always potions he makes and potions he trades,
Always full of herbs and smells,
light or dark, nice or sharp
and some of it that even bit hard.
There he was, deep in his mind and casting spells
But what a mistake! The door was not utterly locked today.
Tip toes carefully walked on the icy ground
and little green eyes spied as the tall man worked.
Right then the door slammed, leaving the little lad trapped.
Snape's sharp eyes caught the kid and frowned
as the tiny voice started to talk:
"Please tell me a tale, one with a snake and a prince and hope.
One with battles and castles and happy endings.
Please, I can't sleep right now."
So they went upstairs and the tall man indeed
read a tale for the toddler that stole his heart of steel.

I hope you like it. Please let me a review, it's very important to me. I accept everything. :D
