Summary: After his parents' deaths, Kale searches for his fortune - and finds his destiny to forever change history.
This story was started 6 years ago now, when I was working the graveyard shift in helpdesk. I bought the Exalted RPG books because the universe fascinated me, and even though none of my gaming friends were interested in playing, the universe the game presented was interesting enough to write a story in.
Technically, this is not a well-done story, by my standards at least. The same adjectives or adverbs were over-used in each chapter (in one chapter, I think I used "quickly" about eight times), and there are minor holes in the plot. Moreover, each chapter was written from start to finish in one go each time, and this shows as well in the writing.
These flaws aside, the characters of this story inspired the main characters in my Bleach fan-fiction story How Changes Howl, with many changes of course. I am still proud of this story, despite its many flaws, because it was my first real story.
With all that said as a preface, I hope you enjoy. The first forty chapters are written from alternate points of view; odd chapters are from the male protagonist's perspective, and even will be from the female protagonist's point of view.
