"Hey Mello, come here!" Matt called. Mello walked over, trying not to show how he really felt.
"Oh, hey, Matt." He replied, trying to be as nonchalant as possible.
"Hey, check this out. I wanna, I wanna show you something." Matt grinned, and Mello could've died. Had Matt figured out how he really felt?
"Oh. Yeah, what is it?" Stay calm. Stay calm. Do not act infatuated. Even though you are. Mello shrugged, barely pulling off his I-don't-care act.
"Well, there's this guy I really like. And I wanna let him know how special he is. So, I wrote a song for him. Just for the purposes of now, because the song isn't really done I'm gonna put your name where his name should be. But you know, I doubt it'll work, it will probably not work at all." Matt pulled out a guitar, which Mello didn't even know Matt could play. "But let's just try it. Check it out!"

"You know, this - it doesn't work. Absolutely not. Doesn't work with your name at all. It sounds horrible with your name. It sounds dumb." Matt sighed. Mello's face fell. "So I dunno. What do you think, would that make a guy fall in love with me?"
"Well, I think it already has." Mello hinted.
"Cool! Great, cause it's for Near!"
Mello frowned. "G-Great, yeah." Matt ran off with his guitar, leaving the blonde in tears.
