Disclaimer:I do not own Dragon Age:Origins.

She didn't drink any didn't complain about having to leave Orzammar, and she didn't complain about her idiotic daughter getting herself killed. She didn't say that Natia should be returned to the stone(even though she should have been). She didn't worry about falling into the didn't complain about the hideous slab of marble the whore was laying on. She didn't step forward to tell everyone how much of a complete dumbass Natia was. She didn't say anything to the King of Orzammar about how strange it was that someone like him would mourn for a casteless duster like her ugly little nug.

She didn't tell the other Grey Warden(Arthur, was it?) that it should've been him. She didn't look any of her daughter's friends in the eye. She didn't comfort the heartbroken elf who had suddenly burst into tears(though she found it strange for a man to cry). She didn't help the whitehaired woman who led him away, trying to be as soothing as possible without crying herself. She didn't watch the large warrior(who was definitly not human) bow to Natia's lifeless body and take the mutt with him. She didn't smile back at the redhaired girl who smiled painfully at her. She didn't show the surprise when she saw Oghren, the man who was arguably the crudest man in the history of Orzammar, act in a stoic manner. She didn't go with Rica to pay respect to the younger daughter. She didn't make any rude comments when so many surfacers showed genuine sadness. She didn't leave when everyone else did.

She did step forward then. She did hold her baby's hand one last time. She did brush a lock of hair from her surprisingly pretty face. She did remember all the times she was a total bitch to her daughter. She did remember the times she told Natia she would never become anything, that she was going to be a duster forever. She did remember when she told her that if she had her way, her precious child would be a noble hunter with Rica. She did break down sobbing, begging the Ancestors to give her one last chance to see her little girl, alive, happy, and not despising her mother.
