"But Cloud!" Aeris whined softly in her best pleading tone. "Everyone else is dressing up for the party!"

The blonde folded his arms over his chest. He had many reasons as to why he didn't want to dress up for the Easter party. One, parties just weren't his thing. Two, Easter was a Christian celebration and he was no Christian. And three, even if he liked parties and was a Christian, he didn't want to go as a pink bunny rabbit!

"It's not so bad," she continued. "Tifa and I are chickens and Barret's an egg. At least you'll get through the door in your suit!"

"But it's pink!" he cried, holding it up. She frowned slightly.

"I'm not colorblind Cloud," she said gently with a small smile. It suddenly dawned on him that the pink suit had been left for him. He narrowed his eyes on the girl, who faked an innocent expression but it didn't fool him. He threw the Easter bunny costume onto the seat before turning back to Aeris, who had taken a small step back. He suddenly leaped for her but she dodged, giving a playful yelp as she ran out the door. Barret and Tifa popped their heads out of their bedroom doors to see Aeris run past.

"He's going to kill us!" she yelled, giggling slightly as Cloud chased after her. The two didn't need to be told twice as they raced out of their rooms and followed the fleeing flower girl.

"And I thought pink would suit him!" she said breathlessly.
