Red John Showdown
My blood in my veins run cold as me and Patrick are faced to faced with the most notorious serial killer ever to walk on this planet. Red John was standing inches away from the duo. Then it was all slow motion for Teresa Lisbon being pushed to the ground and her gun being ripped from its holster. The next thing Teresa knew she watched Patrick ran at Red John with her gun in his hands. Upon reaching Red John all Patrick wants to do is to strangle him for everything he'd done for the two lives he took.
Jumping in the air arms outstretched Patrick landed on Red John and began strangling him. Patrick dropped the gun belonging to Teresa in the process. Gritting his teeth Patrick says "Now that I have you, you will not get away from me. You will feel the pain you inflicted on Charlotte and Angela all those years ago." "Oh really Patrick" Red John replied gasping for breath. Red John somehow managed to get out of the grasp that Patrick had him in. Grabbing the gun Red John gets in a crouching position with his back against the tree and fires the gun twice.
Teresa could only watch in horror as one of the bullets struck Patrick in the left shoulder and the second bullet struck Patrick in the stomach. With what strength he had left got the gun back from Red John and fired two shots of his own at Red John one shot to his chest and the other shot right between his eyes satisfied that Red John was dead that he paid for all the pain he caused Angela and Charlotte.
Falling on his back while letting out a ragged breath Patrick could hear Teresa's footsteps coming towards him. Keeping the blood as stable as she could taking off her jacket Teresa applied pressure to Patrick's stomach; Patrick himself just flinched at the pain. "Stay with me Patrick!" Teresa said with tears streaming down her face. Choking on a sob Teresa then says "Don't leave me Patrick please." Teresa looks down at her blood soaked suit jacket soaked in Patrick's blood and the blood now soaking through her fingers. "This has got to be the stupidest thing you've ever done" Teresa said as she gritted her teeth while applying more pressure to the wound. Then Teresa added "Well you got him." Patrick knew she was talking about Red John. "Yeah I did" Patrick said in a raspy breath. "Patrick I love you" Teresa said in a sobbing voice. Teresa then was about to call for help when Patrick stopped her. Teresa looked up surprised and said "You need medical attention you idiot." Still shaking his head Patrick says in a raspy voice "I won't make it Teresa." Teresa interjected by saying "Don't say that you will." Wiping the tears away from her face Patrick then says "Teresa?" "Yes" Teresa replies now holding his hand "I love you too" Patrick says and then he was gone. Feeling his hand go cold and limp Teresa began to shake Patrick awake but to no avail, she even said his name over and over but that didn't work either. Teresa finally let out a cry for agony as she cried into Patrick's chest with his blood covering her hands.
