Pairings: one-sided Charmershipping
Author's Notes: I am actually writing a chaptered fic but this just popped into my head so I decided to write it. I'm sure it's someone-centric but I don't know what that means. Constructive criticism is encouraged.
To her, love was like a swimmer in water. If you know what you're doing, you will keep afloat. However, if you don't know what you're doing, then you'll sink to depths.
But if you do sink to depths you shouldn't worry, because sometime along the track a hero will come along and save you.
When Saotome Rei looked at Yuki Judai, she saw a hero.
He was someone who was seen as courageous and selfless.
It never mattered how many times Rei started to think highly of someone else because Judai was someone who Rei always wound back admiring.
She admired him for his heroic characteristics and never even saw his flaws.
She believed his deck reflected him as a person almost perfectly.
Rei longed for the day that Judai would admire her back.
But first, he would have to be her hero.
However, there was something that was holding him back from being her hero.
Rei didn't know much about love.
And he could rescue her, but he chose not to.
But that didn't matter.
Because Judai will always be a hero to Rei.
Just not her hero.
Author's Note: I hope it doesn't suck. :X I get the feeling it doesn't make much sense either, but I hope that's just me. Anyway I'd love to hear your thoughts. :)
