AN~ This is based of a book i read called 'The Ability' It reminded me of miraculous ladybug.
"Adrien," Miss Mandelieve turned to Adrien, "Took a twenty pound note from my purse," Miss Mandelieve looked back to Mr. Damocles,"And I know for a fact that he took it because he is by far my worst student I have ever had, and i request he be suspended for three days"
"Like I said before," Adrien spoke up, "There is no proof pointing to me, nor, anyone else for that matter," Adrien paused to take a breath, "And I told you three times, that I did not take it."
"Then who did Adrien?" Mr. Damocles asked, "Was it Lila? Max? Kim? Alex? The best kids in the class? Oh? Or was it Miss Mandelieve herself? Oh what fun knowing that would be, wouldn't it Adrien? But if it wasn't you than who was it? Casper the friendly ghost?" Adrien inaudibly gulped.
"Well if it was Casper then wouldn't he be Casper The-Not-So-Friendly Ghost?" Adrien chuckled "But there is no proof I took 20 dollars from her"
"Turn your pockets inside-out," Mr. Damocles demanded, Adrien did as told, but there was no 20 dollar note in his pocket, "Well, that would be stupid, even for you Adrien, huh? You are here- by suspended for 3 days." Adrien got up and left the office, then the school, he ran through the the wet cold streets, he passed willow street, he passed serpiente avenue, and turned in the alley way where the chain link fence seperated him from his designated area. Adrien pulled off his soaked, torn orange sneaker, the other still on his foot, and then a twenty pound note fell out of his shoe, he picked up the note and put it in his pocket, why did he do that again? oh yeah, because he was poor and his father wouldn't get up and get a job! (By the way Adrien and Gabriel are poor) Adrien pushed the shoe back on and hopped the chain link fence , he got to his apartment door and swung it open. Even he was surprised he was able to run that long and far. He looked to his left and just , like the ability of the underworld freezing over, his dad was still sitting on the couch.
"Hey Father? I'm going to the store!" Adrien walked down the street and Super Mart was still there, like it has been for over than a year. Adrien walked in and went to the aisle that held the fruit and veggies. He grabbed carrots, peas, potatoes, and celerie, which only totaled to be about 3 dollars so far, he walked down the aisle that held the broth for the soup he was going to make. Adrien silently made his way to the counter and paid for his ingredients. Adrien walked down the street but he stopped when he saw a pawn shop, he walked inside.
"Hello?" Adrien shouted, as he walked in awaiting an answer, good thing he did not have to wait that long.
"Hello, what do you need?" asked an older man.
"Um... I would like to trade this in for some money, please." The older man examined the case for the object, it was black with a red chinese phrase, or word, or letter, or symbol. He opened it up and he saw a crystal embroidered brooch, it probably cost about 5,000 dollars, maybe more and it was in the shape af a peacock tail.
"Where did you get this?" The man asked.
"It was my mom's"
"Well this costs more than this whole store does and i can't bargain with under eighteens," Adrien grabbed his stuff but the man stopped him," But I can give you money, my back doesn't work that well and i can't carry heavey loads, so 50 dollars if you help me clean the store."
"100 and I'll do it alone!"
"75."
"100 and you'll have never seen this place cleaner"
"Ok, come back tomorrow"
