Friends N The Eds

Disclaimer: I do not own the Friends or Ed Edd n Eddy characters.

(A/N: Hi everyone! You may be wondering how I came up with this idea. Well, my boyfriend and I watch these two shows a lot and he brought up the idea to write a crossover fan fiction. I thought it was dumb at first, but after he gave me some ideas, I thought it was pretty cool. This story was written by my boyfriend and me.)

The Eds get on the bus with the other kids living in the cul-de-sac attending Peach Creek Junior High. They are all ecstatic and they can't wait to get to Manhattan. Ed has a giant army-sized bag with toasters, bread, butter, gravy boats, gravy cakes, Chunky Puffs cereal, and comic books. Edd has a clean and organized suitcase and wet wipes by his side. Eddy's suitcase looks messy and poorly packed as if he had forgotten about the trip the day before.

"Oh, boy! New York City, the birthplace of remarkable scenery, architecture, and the arts!" Edd says.

"And all of the pretty pigeons I can hug and squeeze! They're like flying chickens," Ed adds.

"Don't forget, it is the birthplace of the very thing that makes the world go 'round. CASH," Eddy exclaims.

Ed looks at Eddy. "But Eddy, didn't we go to the city and give Kevin a corn tattoo on his back and a snake on Jimmy's face?" He asks.

"It would appear that you actually remember the time we built a cardboard city," Edd chimes in.

"Yeah, I remember, but this time it'll be different," Eddy says, "I won't be a failure and I'll make big bucks in the Big Apple!"

"There's a big apple there too?" Ed asks.

"Actually, Ed, the Big Apple is what most New Yorkers call their city. It was first popularized in–"

"Shut up, sock-head," Eddy cuts Edd off, "we're not in school."

"But Eddy, our primary purpose is to learn about New York culture," Edd responds.

"Whatever," Eddy says, looking disinterested.

Johnny sits behind the Eds with Plank by his side.

"Oh boy buddy!" Johnny exclaims, "we finally get to go to New York City. Bet you can't wait to meet your ancestors, right?" Plank simply sat next to him, flashing that colorful wooden smile.

Kevin sat in the back of the bus next to Nazz.

"Wow, dude, we're going to New York City! I'm so excited, aren't you Kev?" says Nazz.

"Of course I am," Kevin says while sweating profusely.

"Dude, are you okay?" She asks Kevin while scooting away from him.

"There are bad people in New York City, man. There are muggers, and they might take my bike!"

Eddy overhears Kevin and starts to laugh. "Did you hear that Double D? Wittle ole Kevin is worried about his pwecious bike being taken away, oh the horror!" Eddy mocks while putting on a baby voice.

Kevin's forehead turns red with anger and in retaliation, throws his shoe as hard as he can, hitting Eddy in the face. "Nice catch dork!"

Eddy then pulls the shoe off of himself, leaving an indentation on his face. "Granddad, you ran a red light again," Eddy mumbles while falling to the floor of the bus.

Rolf is sitting in the second to last row, and next to him is Wilfred. He looks at the Eds and smiles.

"Ah, Ed boys, Rolf presumes that you are all excited to go to the city, yes?"

Edd looks at Rolf with a puzzled expression. "Rolf, Wilfred cannot come with us. There are no animals allowed in the airport, and your pig is not a service animal."

"Well, you see, sock head Ed boy, Rolf has come prepared," Rolf says as he puts a service animal jacket around Wilfred.

"What's a service animal?" Ed asks.

"A service animal is–"

"What did I tell you Double D? We're not in school, SO NO LEARNING!" Eddy yells, interrupting Edd.

"Shut up, fish face!" Sarah yells from the front of the bus, "you're hurting Jimmy's ears!"

"It's okay, Sarah, I don't mind the yelling. We're going to New York City. One day, I will live there, perform on Broadway, and become a star!"

Eddy overhears Jimmy and does his best to hold in his laughter. The bus driver stops the bus abruptly.

"Please keep it down, we are picking up the final passengers," the bus driver says.

The bus door opens and the dreaded Kanker sisters step inside. The Eds are frozen in fear at the sight of the girls who had attempted to kiss them on more than one occasion.

"IT'S OUR BOYFRIENDS!" The sisters scream in unison.

One of the sisters, Marie, gets close to Edd. "Sooner or later, we'll be kissing on New Year's Eve at Times Square under the neon signs."

The blonde sister, May, is sitting on the top part of Ed's seat. "Big Ed here will be taking me out ice skating at Rockefeller Center."

The oldest sister, Lee, grabs her sisters by the heads and places them on a seat across from the Eds. "Girls, enough with the chit-chat or the driver will toss us out. We don't want to be missing out on our big dates with our cutie pies."

"Is everyone ready to go?" The bus driver asks.

"Yes, Mr. Douglas!"

With that, Mr. Douglas pulls away from the trailer park and to the airport.
