It was a beautiful Spring afternoon and Lo, the normal type Lopunny, was practicing for another battle with her long time friend and rival Cory, an overconfident Lucario. Lo was testing the various moves she knew: Bounce, Shadow Ball, Acrobatics, and her newly learned attack, Focus Blast.
"Alright," Lo talked to herself while putting a necklace around her neck containing Lopunnite, her mega stone. "I won't lose this time."
Cory, meanwhile, wasn't training, he was waiting at an open meadow where him and Lo were going to face off. He too had a mega stone. He never had to use it. Cory chuckled and thought to himself, "I don't know why she keeps trying."
Lo didn't want to fight the Lucario, she, from back when they first met as a Riolu and Buneary, has had a crush on Cory. However, whenever they talk to each other, they always end up in a battle. Lo didn't want to fight, but she loves seeing the self proclaimed Lucario in action.
It was time for the fight between the Lopunny and Lucario, the meadow had a sweet aroma from freshly bloomed flowers. Cory grew impatient, "Is Lo a no-show?"
Lo was still a bit dazed after their previous battle four days ago but she came anyway, "No Cory. I'm right here."
Cory stood up and got into his battle stance, "If you say I'm better, I'll go easy on you."
The Lopunny prepared herself in her stance as well and closed her eyes while holding the mega stone in her hands, "Yea, like i'll admit to that."
