Marry Me?
"Meet me at the lake in an hour" said Riven over the phone.
"But-" Musa said but he already disconnected.
At the Lake…
"So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" asked a curious Musa.
Riven turned his back towards her.
"I'm leaving" he said in almost a whisper but Musa heard him very clearly.
"What?" she asked shocked.
"I'm leaving" Riven said a bit louder this time. Musa stood shocked there.
"What did I do wrong?" she asked thinking it was because of her.
"Musa-"
"What did I do to deserve this?" tears were coming out of her eyes.
"Nothing. You're not the reason I'm leaving"
"Then what is?"
"I…..can't tell you"
"Why no-" she tried to reason but was interrupted by Riven.
"Unless, you do something for me" Riven looked into Musa's eyes.
"Anything before you go"
"Anything?" Musa nodded her head.
"Ok then," he pulled out a small box from his pocket and got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?"
Musa had tears of joy in her eyes. She nodded her head.
"Yes,yes,yes!" She screamed. Riven put the ring on her finger, picked her up and kissed her like he'd never kissed anyone before.
"You have to promise me something though"
"What?"
"Never scream like that again"
