My name is Ganga Kapoor. And I know the Doctor.

It all happened like it usually does. Not-so-normal normal day. Big crisis. The Doctor comes, becomes all mysterious, and bam, the next thing you know, you're in the TARDIS, being whisked away to your doom. But you still love it. You love the adventure, the constant danger you're always in. Because you believe-no, you know- that somehow the Doctor will save you.

Well, guess what. Turns out that's not the case every time. My name is Ganga Kapoor. And I am the one companion that was never safe. From the very start of my life.

I was never supposed to meet the Doctor. I was supposed to live a normal life. And, considering what happens, I'm still glad I did. Meet the Doctor, I mean.
