A/N: Couldn't find another place for this. Oneshot from Stick It. Tricia Skilkin's thoughts before scratching on the floor routine.
Everyone is expecting me to scratch. Should I? Tricia Skilkin, one of the most prominent up-and-coming gymnasts, was unsure of her next move, for the first time in her entire life.
An inward battle raged beneath Tricia's smooth surface. The faces of her parents, her coaches, the judges, Haley Graham, and so many other gymnasts flashed in front of her eyes. Scratch! Scratch! Haley was trying to send Tricia brainwaves. Tricia was receiving them loud and clear, along with the ones from her coaches saying Don't scratch! Don't scratch! Tricia took a deep breath, took one step forward, and slowly but surely pulled the shoulder of her leotard down and snapped the exposed bra strap.
Tricia turned her head and saw Haley's shocked and delighted face. The crowd went wild. They had never seen such teamwork in gymnastics as these gymnasts were exhibiting today! And as Haley swept Tricia into a huge hug, Tricia knew that gymnastics would never be the same again.
