Summary: Season 7: Meg is left behind to nurse Castiel in the Northern Indiana State Hospital. Sometimes she wonders why she's there.
Meg tries not to be irritated by the little flinch Castiel gives every time he sees her face, and gets an eyeful of her demon form. Which is every day, bright and early, because she's the nurse on wake-up duty in this dump.
He's forgotten he's an angel; most days he's barely there at all, but somehow he always manages to recognise her true nature.
She doesn't know whether to be flattered or furious. So she carries on feeding him jello along with his antipsychotics, and when he's so out of it he's almost comatose, she kisses his dry lips.
