Since he left she hasn't been the same anymore, she'd never be the same without his emerald green eyes watching her, those same eyes she fell in love with, when he left a part of her went with him, she would only be whole when he came back, i if /i he came back, but i he promised /i to come back.
Until he returns she'll keep staring through the window everyday, hoping that one day he will come back victorious after the fight with He-who-must-not-be-named, she still couldn't say that evil name aloud.
It wasn't just him who left; there were also her brothers and her best friend, Hermione. She was all alone now.
If someone would see her there standing peacefully by the window, they would never know how she really felt inside, they could never figure that inside her she had a deep wound, that hurt, that bled, a wound that would only heal when she'll know that he's ok.
She remembered how she felt when she first saw him, it was like electricity ran trough her body, it was enough for her to look in his emerald green eyes once and she knew she would always love him.
Of course she was only a child then, only ten years old, it was a childish crush then. But she also remembered how safe she felt near him ever since he rescued her from To Riddle, how she never wanted him to let go of her, maybe it was more than a simple crush even then.
Then she remembered their first kiss, it felt so right, it was when they both understood they were meant to be.
Now that he's gone there's no one who can understand her how he once did, no one to protect her or direct her, no one to support her…
She begged him, that day when he told her he was leaving, she begged him to stay, but he wouldn't listen, he said that it was his duty to find and kill Voldemort; she could see that he didn't want to go either, she could see it in his eyes, but she couldn't blame him for wanting to avenge his parent.
She stopped begging long ago; all she had left inside her was hope and the memory of his emerald green eyes.
Everyday she sat near the window and every time someone passed by her and asked her if she was okay, as much as she wanted to answer truthfully, she didn't want to be another burden on the shoulders of her parents, so every time her answer was" yes I'm fine, thank you" but she wasn't fine at all, she wanted to scream, to break out of this world she caught herself in, she wanted to make these walls she's built around herself disappear.
But she knew she couldn't, this was her only protection right now, and she would be too vulnerable if she did. She wanted to feel safe like she felt when she was with him, she wanted to feel happy again, but she knew it wasn't possible as long as he was gone.
All she had left of him was this image she kept in her head of him coming back surrounded by happy faces after defeating Voldemort, the image of his eyes sparkling with happiness again, but this it is all it was, a simple fantasy of hers, a dream that no one knew if it would come true
She missed him; she missed him with all her heart and soul, with her mind and body. She wanted to hear the sound of his voice again, she wanted to feel his touch on her skin, the taste of his lips, she wanted to sink in his beautiful eyes, all these thoughts were driving her mad, She was tired of feeling like this, she felt like screaming, like yelling, like ripping everything apart, all this just to feel alive. Then she felt that she'd rather die than continue living like this.
She used to be the most lively and optimistic from them all, but he was with her then, now he was gone and no one knew when he was coming back, i if /i he was coming back.
