Sonic Underground Reborn
Prologue
* Sonic's Point of View *
It's been a whole year since I was reunited with Sonia and Manic. I can still remember the massive explosion that separated me from them ten years ago.
Robotnik, Eggman that is, had managed to gather the seven Chaos Emeralds. Sonia, Manic, and I knew that we had to stop him. However, disaster occurred. I was in the process of tackling Robotnik, Eggman that is, in his Egg Mobile, when there was a terrible malfunction in the giant robot he had the Emeralds in. Eggman must have know what was coming, because he kicked his Egg Mobile into overdrive, and went flying off, while taking me along for the ride. The sudden acceleration caused me to drop my guitar, but my first instinct was to hang on for dear life.
Before I knew what was happening, there was a huge explosion. The Chaos Emeralds had apparently reacted in a bizarre manner thanks to the robots malfunction. Since we were flying, the blast actually pushed us off away from the dome of destruction. But it knocked me unconscious. When I woke up, I saw that Robotropolis, or Mobotropolis as it was called before Eggman Robotnik took over, was all in ruins. An entire city...gone. I could see the eerie glow from the ruins from the top of a hill I landed on. I remember running away from that place as fast as I could. My home, my guitar, my family, my friends all gone. The only thing Eggman had lost was Dingo and Sleet, because as far as I was concerned, he never really owned Mobotropolis.
Any way, I kept on moving moving west, putting my tragic past behind me, as well as my dreams of finding my mother and ruling with Sonia and Manic. Before long, I met up with Knuckles again. He was devastated at the loss of Sonia and Manic. We never spoke of it again. However when I made lots of new friends, like Tails, Amy, Cream and Cheese, Vanilla, and the Chaotix, I some how knew that everything was gonna be alright.
Boy, was I ecstatic when Sonia and Manic returned. During the blast, they had used their instruments to create protective energy shields. They left to the east after the city was destroyed, but they soon decided to head west, and that's how we were reunited. Knuckles was so happy to see them again, and we were more than happy to tell our friends all about our past, even though it kind of had a tragic ending. They also found my guitar medallion for me. That day was the greatest of my entire life. We exchanged stories of our adventures.
And pretty soon, we're gonna have a huge concert to celebrate our reunion.
That's my version of what happened to separate the Hedgehogs and wipe out the existence of Mobotropolis.
