It was one of those nights, endless and serene. So breathe taking still that one would wonder if it were actually only a wonderful, star dazzled picture. Zero slipped through the shadows like the demon that many thought him as, somehow remaining silent as the night around him. Once in a while he would glance around him as if tracing an invisible path that only he saw.
Left, right, left, right.. Bingo!
The blonde's mouth switched in amusement. The little clearing was the same as it had always been a diminutive stump in the center, a patchwork of grass and dirt. "Of course, it just has to be this forest, doesn't it" Zero smiled his comment not really a question, but it rarely was when it was directed to the shadow that had itself just arrived on scene, melting out of the darkness into the moon bathed strip of land. He slowed to a halt tilting his head back, his long mane transcending into ethereal silver, a viscous blade carving into the world. "Where else would it be?" The figure responded in turn with a responding smile. Zero glanced at the figure in front of him before returning his gaze to the eternal sky.
His companion smile was as eternal as the stars above and just as deceptively bright. His eyes turned troubled even as he remained smiling. "You don't have to pretend for me" Zero spoke up. "Yes I know" was the only reply.
The smaller companion watched with battle honed eyes as Zero plunked down on the packed earth leaning into the nearest tree.
"Are you going to come over here or not?" Zero grinned, his white teeth flashing in the moonlight. There was a slight pause. Then walking over with flawless grace. "Like this?" Kneeling down and straddling Zero's hips he smashed their mouths together freely.
"MMMmmmmmmn"
The smaller one chuckled, pulling back. "How's X" Zero sighed. His brow creased thoughtfully. "I'm not quit sure, he's been...distant lately." "I fear you might lose him" Zero gave him a confused look.
"Not now just stay with me tonight"
"Okay Rock"
