Obsessions

Derek's POV

We all have obsessions right? Well Reid's was the new profiler. I admit she was fairly attractive. She wasn't extremely skinny but she certainly wasn't fat. She had light brown curly hair that fell just below her shoulders. She also had extremely long legs and was almost as tall as Reid. He has confronted her before and she knows that he likes her. She doesn't seem to care either way. I wish I could know what she was thinking right now.

Macy's (the new girl) POV

My first couple days at the BAU have been exciting but also a little weird. I feel like one of the profilers, Reid, is always watching me. I've talked to him a couple times but he just stutters and mumbles something to himself. He seems extremely smart. Don't get me wrong I'm smart too, but not that smart. I wish he was more comfortable around me. He is pretty cute though. I think he likes me.

Derek's POV

Valentine's Day was right around the corner and Reid had a plan. He called it "The Plan that would Win Macy's Love." He really needs to date a little more. Well the morning of Valentine's Day Reid came in with a big grin on his face.

"Okay, what's your secret plan?" He slapped down a box of chocolate. Not just any chocolate, Swiss chocolate with peanut butter in the middle. It's extremely rare around here and it's the best and most expensive chocolate around.

"I'm going to lay it on her under some papers while she's gone for lunch."

"Nice, but are you gonna sign it?"

"Yes of course !"

By the time lunch came around he was shaking his knee under his desk. He does that when he's nervous. Macy left the room with Emily and that's when he made his move. He slipped the box of chocolate under one of her files and went to lunch. Reid kept looking at Macy and she started to notice. What surprised me is that she came over to our table.

"Dude you're screwed!" I whispered to Reid.

"Umm is there a problem?" she asked Reid.

"Uh, Uh no sorry." he responded.

"I mean do I look funny, seriously I can take it."

"You look fine; I, I was just staring into space."

"Oh I do that all the time." she smiled. "Sorry if I interrupted you."

"You, you didn't interrupt, we were, were just, you're fine."

With that, she walked away. "Dude, that was close," I laughed.

"Yeah, whatever," he said.

When we finished lunch, we headed back and I sat down next to Reid as we watched Macy come in.

Macy's POV

I was coming back from lunch from the little incident with Reid. I was talking on the phone with Penelope. She seems to act like an older sister to me ever since I became Agent Macy Erin. I sat down and started going through my files and talking to Penelope about my life out of the Behavior Analysis Unit. I noticed some thing suspicious under one of my folders though. It was a gift.

Derek's POV

Reid and I watched as she unwrapped the wonderfully delicious chocolate and she looked a bit shocked. She read the card and walked over to where we were sitting and whispered something into Reid's ear. His eyes were the size of Ping Pong balls as she handed him the chocolate back.

"What did she say Reid?" I asked

He shook his head and didn't say anything. Hours passed and before I headed home, I asked him one more time.

"Dude, what did she say to you?"

He looked at me with a shocked look as if he was still recovering from the incident.

"She's allergic to peanut butter."
