This is my first fanfic ever. I post it in wattpad but I have to have the nerve to post it here. There is more of this but will take a while so please wait. I am sad that Yugioh Zexal is over and I thought of a new story. May not be great by the original creators but I think it is good. Enjoy Zexal 3. There is a OC in this story.

I don't own Yugioh Zexal

It has been 2 years since the defeat of Don Thousand. Yuma and his friends like Kotori, Tetsuo, Cathy, Flip and Caswell are in the last grade of school. Shark and Rio have graduated from middle school and are now high school students. They are waiting for a great first day. But they didn't also relieve that the evil that they have once defeat is going to return.

Yuma and his friends are on their way to Heartland Academy. "Man, it has been a long time." Trey, the boy with pink hair said. Trey is one of Yuma's friends that still go to the same school as Yuma. "Yeah, it is has been." Yuma, the boy with black spikes and red eyes said.

"We are in the third and last grade of Heartland Academy." Caswell added.

"Yeah and too bad that Shark, Rio and the others are also gone to high school." Flip said.

"Yuma, in this school year, I hope your grades get better." Kotori snickered. Yuma rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I'll try to do better on my grades." Yuma sighed. Kotori giggled.

Yuma walk to his sit and there is boy with golden short hair with a red bangs, two longs one and one short one in the middle and has aqua eyes. Yuma introduce to him, "Hi, my name is Yuma Tsukumo." The boy said, "Hi Yuma, my name is Sota Takahashi."

Sota look closely at Yuma and yelled and jumped, "Hey are you the Yuma Tsukumo. The one who won the World Duel Carnival?"

"Yes" Yuma scattered. "Wow, it is an honor to know the famous Yuma Tsukumo." Sota said with praise. Yuma turn red in embarrassment. "Yeah, I'm Yuma Tsukumo." Yuma says with an ego. "Ha Ha-Ha." Sota laughed.

A teacher went in "Ok it is time to start."

"Hey, Yuma, would you like to eat together for lunch." Sota asked. "Ok." Yuma said. Yuma went back to his studies and smiled that he got a new friend.

At lunch, they are having lunch with his friends and Sota. "You have lots of friends include Shark that is now at high school. They are at the Heartland City Tournament and I am surprise really." Sota said.

"They are great friends and I'm glad we are still together after all these years." Yuma said with a smile.

"Hey, I'm curious. Out of all these friends which one is your 'best' friend?" Sota asked. Everyone looked at Yuma and he knows one person in mind. "My best friend name is Astral but he is not from here." Yuma answered.

"What is he like?" Sota asked.

"He is a smart guy, though he can be uptight and a strong duelist. At first, we didn't get along and we clash a lot. But overtime, he is the most important friend and became my everything." Yuma said with a smile has praised his best friend.

"So where is he now?" Sota asked. Yuma flicked and don't know how to answer that because Astral is not from Earth but the Astral World. Kotori cut in, " He lives overseas to study astronomy." Kotori answered fast.

"Oh, cool." Sota said. Kotori and Yuma sighed out of relieve for Sota to brought it."

"Hey, do you guys like to duel?" Sota said. "Yeah, we do." Yuma responded quickly. "Let's start after school." Sota suggested. "Ok, you're on." Yuma said with excitement.

Yuma is battling Sota. Sota has a monster has a monster that has white skin, blue eyes, long white hair, a beautiful robe and has a long staff. The card's name is 'White Maiden Sorceress.' that looks like it came from light and Yuma has Gagaga Cowboy.

"Gagaga Cowboy, attack Sota directly." Yuma yelled.

Gagaga Cowboy attack came and Sota's life points turn to zero. Sota went down in defeat. Yuma went and handshake Sota's hand. "That was a good battle." Yuma said. "Yeah, I have to keep training." Sota said.

"Why is that?" Yuma ask,

"You can say I am a total rookie." Sota said.

"Ah. I get it." Yuma said. Sota is saying that he love cards but doesn't have the knowledge just like Yuma in the past when he can't duel.

"I have fun we should do it again. See you tomorrow." Yuma said. "You too, Yuma. Bye." Sota said as everyone when their way home.

Yuma looked up and saw a blue light. "What's that?" Yuma said. Kotori, Tetsuo, Cathy, Flip, Caswell and Trey looked up. Sota turn around and saw them gathering in one place.

The blue light hit the ground and saw...Astral.

"Astral!" Yuma yelled and his friends surround Astral. "Astral, you came." Tetsuo said. "How you doing?" Kotori said. "It's been a long time." Flip said.

Sota is wondering how are they talking to. He looked where they are talking, but he didn't see anyone. "Guys, who are you talking to?"

Yuma remember that others people besides his friends can't see Astral. Sota walks to them and looked at the area they were talking to. "I don't see anyone. Whom are you talking to?" Sota said.

Yuma sighed and said, "Astral is invisible to you and not us."

Sota raise his eyebrow, "You mean he is your imaginary friend."

"No" Yuma yelled. "You can't see him because he is invisible to you but not me and my friends."

"Ohh...Why is that?" Sota said.

"I don't know." Yuma responded. "I can't explain why because I don't know ever."

"Anyway, Astral is good to see you." Yuma said as he turns to Astral. "Yes, it is." Astral responded.

But then, his face turns serious. "There is someone that is trying to revive Don Thousand.

Yuma and his friends gasp. "What! How can it be possible, we destroy him?" Yuma said.

"But someone is try to do the regenerate." Astral said.

"It happened at the Astral World. There was a female that has green skin and has long black hair and has a red cape and brown clothes with a skirt. "

*****Flashback*****

A woman came in and saw the Numeron Code. She touches it and her eyes glow white and in a moment, her eyes stop glowing. The woman sense someone behind her

"What are you doing here?" Astral said. The woman turns and saw Astral. An evil smile appeared in her face. "What have you done?" Astral ask.

She laughs evilly, " You can say I made a wish from the Numeron Code for knowledge to revive Don Thousand." The woman said. Astral eyes turn huge. "What have you lost it you will doom the worlds?" Astral said.

"I want a world full of chaos and I was looking forward to see his world four years ago. But now he is gone but now it is my job to help him finish what he had started." The woman said. "My name is Eris. I am the only one who can revive Don Thousand and help him build this perfect world."

Eris pointed at Astral. "One of the keys to revive him is one of your Numbers."

Eris raises her hand and a dark aura shoot at Astral and knocks him down. The card floats to Eris' hand and looks at the card and smiled. "Number 96. He is a piece of Don Thousand, correct. Sorry little Astral but I will be borrowing him for a while." Eris laughed in entertainment. With that she vanished.

Astral sense something big will happen and Yuma and his friends are the only ones that need his.

*****End of Flashback*****

"She is going to revive Don Thousand!" Yuma yelled.

Astral nodded. "And I will need for you and everyone's help. Will you help me?" Astral ask.

Yuma smile, "We will help."

Yuma and his friends are determined to take Eris down before Don Thousand revive.

Sota doesn't know what is going on but he didn't bother them and just walked home.

A few days later, Yuma and Astral are patrolling the streets in search of Eris.

"It feels just like old times." Yuma mention. Astral looked at him and smiled, "Yeah, you're right."

"Astral, what does this woman name Eris want with Number 96?" Yuma ask.

"I don't know. But I do know that Black Mist is a piece of Don Thousand that was with me for million years." Astral explain. "I think in order to revive him, he need pieces like Black Mist to be whole again. Maybe there is another piece of Don Thousand that we missed during the war."

"Don't worry we will find that monster and being him to justice." Yuma said with his confident voice. Astral smiled. That is the Yuma he knows.

There was a crowd at a school building. Yuma and Astral came to check it out.

"What's happening?" Yuma ask a citizen.

"There is a crazy black figure holding children hostages." The man said.

"That must be Black Mist." Astral said. Yuma agrees.

"Hey, let me in!" a voice said. Yuma looked and saw Sota yelling and trying to get past the police officers.

"Let me in! My little sister is in that school." Sota yelled.

"No." The officer said.

"I am still going!" Sota yelled and he push an officer away and then ran into the school building.

"We are going." Yuma said as he went to the school as well.

Yuma and Astral looked around to find Black Mist. They went in the school and they went to the first door they saw. They open it and it was a huge gym room.

There is a laugh. "Long time no see, Astral, Yuma." Black Mist appeared. "It is nice to see old friends." Black Mist said.

Yuma and Astral still haven't forgot the unforgivable things he have done and are disgusted by his dirty ways to win.

"We are here to stop you, Number 96." Astral said.

Black Mist smiled, "You don't want those kids to get hurt." Black Mist pointed at the kids that are trembling in fear.

"You better leave those kids alone. We are going to defeat you, here and now!" Yuma yelled as he called Number 0.

"A new Number? Well it is still no match for Number 96" Black Mist said as he called his Number.

They were about to battle until...

"Stop right there!" Sota burst in the room shouting.

Sota went in front of Yuma and Astral and pointed at Black Mist.

"You should be amused to do this to my sister and her friends and not to mention they are kids!" Sota said angrily.

Black Mist is dumbfounded by this boy's personality. Yuma is dumbfounded.

"Big Brother!" a girl said. There was a girl with short orange hair and a white headband.

"You are alright, Gina. That is good." Sota is relieved that his sister is all right. He then pointed at Black Mist again. "I am mad that you did this to them. I will protect my sis and her friends. I am your opponent." Sota is now in a fighting stance.

Black Mist thinks this human is ridiculous. "I never have met a idiot of a human since Yuma." Black Mist said.

"HEY!" Yuma yelled in rage.

"Wow. You are having trouble already." A voice giggled evilly. Eris appeared as she glared at Yuma, Sota, Astral and Black Mist.

"You have quite plenty of power to escape me and man it is tiring to find you." Eris said. "It is time to go back in your prison."

Number 96 glared at her. He doesn't want to be someone's prisoner. He went up to Eris to crush her but she jumped out of the way.

She looked at Black Mist. "What, you don't want to go to be a card again." Eris said with a pout but soon turn upside down.

"Don't worry I have another prison for you." Eris said. She raises her hand with a red aura throw at Black Mist and it hit him. Black Mist is surrounded by it.

Eris then looked at Sota and smiled. "And you boy will be his bars." The red aura hit Sota.

Sota is stunned by pain until he shows a black necklace that looks similar to Yuma's but with a red gem and it black instead of gold.

"What did you do to me?" Black Mist asks.

"That kid is your prison now. Be glad that you are not a card." Eris said and she disappeared.

"What does she mean?" Black Mist wonder. He tries to leave but Sota's necklace glow and lighting sparks hit Black Mist. He fell down in pain.

"What? What is going on?" Astral said.
