The staff of the sea chapter 1
New York
Alex Wilson is sat on the sofa watching TV when the door behind was blown in
He ducks down when his mother steps into the room looking at the shadow forming in the doorway before turning towards where Alex is ducked down behind the sofa she walks over and grabs Alex by the arm.
"Go upstairs son stay quiet" she pushes him towards the door he walks out and goes upstairs but stops half way up.
He sees his mother approach the shadow which can be seen as a man in dark cloak "what are you doing here chaos" he hears his mother ask
"you really thought you could hide from me and your god friend cant interfere now so how would you like to die" he raised his hand and fire enveloped his hand before he threw it at her.
But amara held up her hand and conjured a shield causing the fire ball to slam against the shield.
Chaos laughed before the energy intensified and the shield exploded throwing her back".
Chaos laughed his black sword appearing in hand he walked over to amara "any last words witch".
Amara said nothing chaos raised his blade preparing to strike when Alex ran in and pushed chaos that was shocked but flicked his wrist sending him flying back making Alex dizzy.
Chaos looked at the boy before turning to amara who was still on the floor "so you have a son maybe I should kill him too" he went to walk over to him.
When amara blasted him knocking him off guard she got in front of her son.
Chaos shook of the attack like it was nothing "you have a son interesting but I sense there's more and is that the sea I smell on him".
Alex shook off his dizziness confused he looked at his mother who gave him explain later look".
Chaos laughed "you don't know how about that makes me enjoy this more now let's end this he threw out his hand and a fire ball shot at Alex but his mother pushed him out of the way".
The blast slammed into her pushing her back against the wall chaos walked forward before he drove his blade through her heart amara fell forward hitting the ground.
Chaos pulled his blade back and turned towards Alex and raised his blade to strike when Alex looked up at chaos his eyes glowing with power.
Chaos was caught off guard but reached out grabbing him by the throat and squeezed Alex struggled to breathe when the pipes burst spraying water everywhere causing chaos to release him in surprise".
He quickly got over his shock "I knew it now I have you now to kill you just like your mother he threw a bolt of energy the water moved in front of him trying to protect him but was too weak and the blast parted the water
It would of hit him but Alex rolled out the way before glaring at chaos in rage chaos looked at the boy with a smirk "what you gonna do boy splash me with water".
Alex didn't answer but held his hand towards chaos the water moved at his command but the earth started to rumble chaos tried to blast Alex but was hit in the face by a strong surge of water and blown back.
Alex fell to his knees the water dying down before he passed out.
Palace of Poseidon Atlantis
The sea god was sat on his throne watching over his entire domain when he felt the tremour he didn't think much of it until the throne room doors opened and triton his son came in.
"Dad what's going on I just felt a powerful tremour" Poseidon didn't answer when triton put it together "you had another demigod didn't you".
"Look son" Poseidon tried "no I don't want to hear it dad you cheated on mother again sired one of those demigods".
He turned and stormed out the room ignoring his father.
Poseidon looked down when the rumbling started again and he vanished in a sea breeze he appeared outside the house where his son lives and took human form as not to draw his brother's attention and entered the house.
What he saw immediately horrified him seeing the destruction his eyes landed on his son Alex who was passed out next to the dead body of his mother.
Walking over he moved amara corpse and picked up his son's body and vanished returning to Atlantis not seeing chaos that had recovered from the shock of Alex aura of power he saw Poseidon leave and laughed.
"If you think daddy will be able to protect you from me you think wrong we will see each other again he folded into shadow.
Poseidon dropped his son off in med bay and told the guards to watch him and headed to the throne room finding triton and his wife Amphitrite looking angry well triton looked angry Amphitrite was confused
"Father" triton yelled "why have you bought the demigod here" Poseidon glared at his son "you gonna let me explain this time I bought him here cause that power surge was him it happened because his mother was murdered in front of him".
Triton stepped back slightly shocked that he had to go through that Amphitrite looked horrified she had felt the surge as well but she felt the emotion of pure rage mixed with grief.
Poseidon cleared his throat to speak when triton spoke "how did she die was it my uncle".
"No it wasn't my brother he doesn't even know about him plus because his mother was a witch".
"She must have been able to keep him hidden but right now I was going to train him here".
He saw triton face "look I'm not asking you to be all brotherly but at least give him a chance.
Triton didn't answer for a moment "okay dad I'm not promising anything but I will try".
"Thanks son" Poseidon said "I better go check on him" he walked out the room triton looked at his mother.
Poseidon headed to the med bay where the he found Alex looking out over the city of Atlantis he heard the footsteps behind him and turned Poseidon walked over and started to talk to him.
End of chapter
Next chapter will be a time jump with flash backs to what Alex learns in Atlantis as for chaos will he make another appearance keep reading to find out.
