Schools never normal with the Marauders part I
Chapter 1: a scary school year begins
We all piled off of the train and into the great hall, still laughing about our prank on the train.
James slipped his hand into Lily's and smiled at her. She smiled back. The whole school just stared at them. I took Mina's hand. We all sat down at the table and waited for the sorting to begin.
Soon the scared looking first years were assembled in the hall and the sorting hat began to sing.
The sorting was extremely long. I was tickling Mina under the table, James and Lily were whispering to each other, Remus was looking at the ceiling and Peter was asleep.
James poked me under the table.
"Ow," I said quietly. "What in bloody-"
"Shh," James whispered before whispering something in my ear.
"Ohhh," I said.
We raised our wands, saying a spell, and a suit of armor came walking in.
"I almost forgot," I said.
The armor began to sing.
"Welcome back to Hogwarts all,
So don't have a cow,
Bookworms back to learning,
The rest of us back to OW!"
The armor tripped and fell to the ground.
The other Marauders looked at me.
"I'm not even gonna ask," James said.
The aroumer was back up and singing.
"Our heads are empty,
Full of nothing,
But that seems ok,
For we're back in school,
And now can go back,
To annoying teachers all day!"
Everyone turned to look at us now while laughing of course.
"So come on in,
Don't be shy!
Bother the teachers or learn,
Or die!"
Snape looked at the thing disgustedly.
"Don't forget,
Snape the pest,
Prank him some,
Than take a rest!"
The armor bowed and left the hall.
The Great Hall was ringing with laughter now. Dumbledore stood up his eyes twinkling." Well now that the performance is over, let the feast begin!"
The tables filled with food. There was the usual gasp from the first years, and everyone started eating.
"Grea pwan Siwas," congragulated James, his mouth full of potatoes. congrasuations on the pwank," I said, trying to swallow some pudding.
"It's time for bed students. Chop chop!"
"Tommorow classes begin," Remus said.
James and I grinned evilly.

Remus: Save us all.
