"Hurry up Seriya! We're gonna be late for school again!" shouts
Sebastian, Seriya's older brother. "I'm leaving whether you're ready or
not!" Seriaya grabs her five inch tall boots and runs downstairs to catch
her ride to school with her brother. She looks at the stairs and sees she
left a trail of powdery, silverish, moon dust behind her on the stairs. She
sighs and continues to walk out after her brother's continuous blaring on
his car horn in his green, ford explorer. "I'm coming!" shouts Seriya to
her brother, in the driveway. "Knock it off! I get the idea! I'm trying to
hurry!"

The sound of the waves outside Cameron's window were so serene and peaceful, until Rufus, Cameron's Irish setter, jumped into his waterbed to wake him up for school. Cameron's aunt, Kaheu was calling for his cousin, Brady to get up and ready for another day of school. In an instant, Rufus bolts off Cameron's bed and towards Brady's bedroom door. Cameron got out of bed, went to the bathroom, when he notices a new mark below his belly button. He touched it and it moved. Thinking it was just a bruise from surfing, he just blew it off. He continued to get in the shower like a normal school day.

Tristen was running from the police again as usual. "It was a misunderstanding," he thought to himself. "I mean, he started it! All I did was touch his arm! I don't know how he caught on fire! All I did was touch him!" Tristen had an argument with a fellow peer where the boy pushed Tristen and called him names, because his father, a famous wizard, was convicted of a murder where he used magic to kill the man. The newspapers revealed that his father was a wizard and his mother was a demon, and that they had a child and said his name. In anger, Tristen pushed the boy and tried to run away. The boy continued to taunt Tristen and Tristen grabbed the boy's arm. All of a sudden, the boy caught on fire. Tristen fled and was now running from the police. He was beginning to get out of breath. He turned around and noticed that he had lost them. Now he was in an alley. It was dark and kinda creepy out. He saw a shadow that appeared to be a girl's. It continued to come closer. "Who are you?" shouts Tristen. "I'm not looking for any trouble, but I will defend myself! Speak to me! Reveal yourself to me!" The girl revealed herself. "I am Avery Askashanan," replies the girl. She was wearing what seemed to be gothic clothing. Her shirt was black along with her black leather trenchcoat. Her clothes made her pale skin glow in the moonlight. The corners of the mouth were red as if she had been drinking Hawaiian punch, or something of that sort. "And who are you?"
"I'm Gary," Tristen lies. "I was running away from someone, and now I'm kinda lost."
"Lost, eh?" replies Avery. "That's just how I like them! Too bad I'm not hungry anymore! However, there is always dessert."
"What are you?" asked Tristen. "A vampire follower or something like that?"
"Yes," replied Avery. "Why do you ask?"
