The Kazekage sighed as his door was knocked for the fifth time in ten minutes. He looked up and called for whoever it was to enter. When his sister walked in he smiled slightly.

Temari bowed her head to her baby brother before handing two wrapped packages. One that was tied in a blue cloth he recognised. It was the cloth Temari always used when she brought him food.

The other which was wrapped in black and silver he didn't know. He wasn't sure if he should untie it but when Temari pushed it closer he did. The cloth fell open to reveal a small silver box with a small note attached to it. He picked up the note and opened it.

Gaara,

I was informed that it was your birthday in a few days so I thought I'd write a note and send you something.

Now I know you're the Kazekage and all but that doesn't stop you from getting your ass to Konoha once in a while!

Temari has been a million times. But then again she is always here to see Shikamaru.

Anyway! I've missed you. And so has Kyubi. (He won't admit it though)

Get your ass over here since I've already been to Suna!

Uzumaki Naruto

Gaara smiled when he finished reading. He handed the note to Temari who smiled and shook her head. Same old Naruto.

Gaara turned his attention to the box. He lifted it and found that it heavy but not too heavy. He opened the lid and his eyes widened. Temari watched him as he pulled his gift out of the box. It was a glass sculpture. It was of a fox and a desert racoon lying together. When he looked closer the fox had nine tails.

He smiled. Naruto had obviously gotten it made specially. The two had grown close after the incident with Akatsuki. Gaara had admitted to Naruto when the blonde had visited that he kind of missed Shukaku.

Like Kyubi and Naruto, Shukaku would sometimes speak to Gaara. The two human containers had come to a truce with their demons although Naruto's was stronger as Kyubi did not always lust blood and death while Shukaku pretty much wanted it all the time.

However Naruto had developed a jutsu with Gaara's help that would allow Kyubi to appear as a normal fox. Well a fox that could talk and run and use chakra. Gaara had found that he too could use the jutsu as Shukaku still had a small part of his soul left within Gaara.

The glass figure of Kyubi and Shukaku that Naruto had given him was based on what had happened because of this jutsu. Kyubi and what was left of Shukaku had played together enjoying the little freedom they had.

Naruto and Gaara had also become brothers that night when they both realised how much they truly needed each other. Gaara smiled as he fingered the sculpture. An idea popped into his head and he smirked.

Temari watched the smirk grow and raised her eyebrow. She no longer feared her baby brother and they acted like siblings should. But she still sometimes felt nervous when he smirked as it meant he had a plan.

"I believe that I have some thing to discuss with Konoha. Wouldn't you agree Temari?"

She smiled catching on to what he was thinking.

"I believe you do Gaara. Shall I go and inform the council you will be taking a business trip to Konoha?"

"Yes. And tell them that you and Kankuro will accompany me on this trip."

"At once Kazekage-sama."

She walked out laughing and Gaara stood and picked up his gourd. He couldn't wait to see the fox and his demon.

Totally random. I know I should be working on my other fic but when bunnies jump into my head I am powerless against them. Anyway I thought this was a cute little bunny that had to be written, even if it isn't that good. Meh. If you like it review cause I love reviews!
