Levi, doesn't usually watch T.V. Except for the occasional news, and Petra's delightful coffee, he usually would not be found in the living room. So why is our prideful captain sitting on the brand-new-squeaky-clean-couch-that-is-so-new-because-no-one-ever-uses-it? Why, that is is because he is watching T.V. And what is so important that he actually watches television and keeps his trap shut without criticizing every flaw that exists and doesn't exist? Well that is because the brand new kids' show is starting of course.
Levi, who doesn't watch T.V. enjoys the occasional news...and kids' shows. Why, might one ask? Because it is the only type of show that he will not bother to criticize as it proclaims simple and self-explanatory material. Sure, he will often fall asleep in the midst of watching them, but he never felt the need to critique on how lame the acting is, how some misguided information can be found, or how terrible the special awe-the-children effects are. Because, it is just a kids' show after all. And because his 2 kids are found laying on his nap, one hugging an over-sized teddy bear, and the other grabbing his arm in his surprisingly tight grip (not surprising at all considering who is parent is), and his wife, in the kitchen humming as she made buttered popcorn.
Yea. Levi doesn't bother watching television, and is usually not in the living room, until his family joins him. And it doesn't matter to him how lame it is that the great, the one and only, The Levi, prefers to watch kids' shows, because it's his own preference of taste.
Until Eren comes along all awed-eyed and Petra has to cover the kids' eyes to not let them see the horror unfolding in front of them.
