Author Notes - I don't own FFVII, which is a pity, but there you go

This is my first published Fanfic, so be kind when reviewing.

Thanks go out to all those at Viva Le Reefie who made me think to write about this pairing. But especially to Leo, who convinced me that this drabble was worth posting.

And Special Thanks to my own Yuffie, who inspired this story even though she probably didn't mean to. And also to Turkfox - she probably won't care, but she gave me the possibility of Happiness by introducing me to the Fun and Madness that is Final Fantasy VII.

He had truly loved her; he knew that now. He should have realised it long ago, when he found that she was always on his mind.

He would have done anything for her happiness, no matter what the cost to himself. But now he'd never get the chance.

.

He hadn't been into work since she'd left, but he no longer cared.

The others could run the place, He had much more important things to do now.

He wanted so much to find her. But he couldn't move, couldn't stop the tears enough to start looking.

The Head of the WRO had given up, ever since his beautiful Wutai Rose had gone….
