Blaine Anderson sighed and pushed his way through the incredibly heavy doors of Dalton Academy. Peeking down an empty hallway, he began his search for the dean's office to pick up his schedule and dorm information. He let out a puff of air as he realized that all of these hallways looked exactly the same.

"Lost?" Blaine practically jumped out of his skin at the sound of the high-pitched voice behind him.

"Oh. Um, yeah. My name's Blaine. I'm new and I can't, uh, find the dean's office," Blaine was amazed. Usually he as so composed and confident but suddenly this boy had him practically stuttering.

"Oh! Well I'm Kurt Hummel. It's this way. I'll take you there," Kurt grabbed Blaine's hand sending a spark of electricity through the dapper teen's body and dragged him down the hall to a small office. "I'll wait for you out here. Then I'll show you around."

"Thanks," he answered with a small smile. The dean explained some of the rules and procedures at Dalton before he gave him his information and wished him good luck. "Whitlow House," he said to Kurt as he left the office, rejoining the pale boy,

"Yay! That's where I am!" he said excitedly. "What year are you?"

"Junior."

Oh. Well you'll be on the second floor then. I'm on the ground floor because I'm a senior. What room are you in?" Kurt asked grabbing the paper with his room number on it. "Oh dear god!" he said with a smile and a laugh.

"What?" he asked nervously suddenly terrified.

"Oh! Nothing, it's just that your roommate is Sam Evans. He's a good friend of mine."

"Oh," Blaine couldn't help but show the disappointment on his face.

"Relax. I'm not interested in him. I may be gay but that doesn't mean I can't be friends with other guys,"

"Oh! I didn't mean anything by it. It's just that, um, well, I mean, I'm gay too!"

"Ok, calm down. I was just kidding."

The two walked to Blaine's room together discussing everything from animals to weather to Channing Tatum's abs. "So what should I know about this Sam guy? Is he going to go all roommate and try to kill everyone close to me?"

Kurt laughed lightly which made Blaine feel all light and fluttery. "No. Sam's a really nice kid. He's really funny, sweet, and a bit dorky but he's a good friend." Kurt wrapped a few times on the door. "Sam! Are you in there?"

"At least put on some pants before you answer then door," came a heavy Irish accent from inside the room. Blaine shot Kurt a worried glance.

"There is one more thing you should know about him," said Kurt with a laugh. "Sam isn't someone who hides things. He has no secrets. He's the type of guy who walks out of the shower with the towel around his head instead of his waist. And that's probably Rory that's with him."

"Oh! So they're dating?"

"No. Or at least they won't admit it. They say they're straight. But that is the weirdest bromance I have ever seen."

"Hey Kurt. Oh! Hi. Sam I am.

"And here I am without any green eggs and ham. I'm Blaine, your new roommate."

"Oh dear god! It's a match made in hell!"

"Hi!" greeted a smiley Irish. "I'm Rory!"

"Hey Sory! We'd love to continue this conversation but neither of you are wearing anything but your boxers and this extraordinarily awkward! So put on some clothes and we'll go show Blaine around," Kurt rambled, laughing at his best friends' antics.

And for the first time, Blaine thought maybe, this place wouldn't be so bad after all.
