A/N: I only take partial credit for this because to be honest I got the idea from PrincessofPunk8 's story Mr Wrong. So all thanks goes to her :)
Disclaimer: As I've tried to state in all my stories I put on here, I do not own Jay or Adam or anything WWE related. No merch, no nothing, kay? :) Enjoy.
Someone was trembling for fear of the tempest
Somebody silently reached for their hand
Said, understand that if you're cold I'll keep you warm
"Hey man... Dude, please wake up." Jay whispered nudging the sleeping form under the thick blanket; he got nothing but silence and little snorts in response.
Jay dragged his hand through his long hair and grunted, he was feeling really desperate now and very anxious. Adam wasn't waking up and Jay was freaking out over the thunderstorm that was raging outside. "Please man, I'm panicking and I don't know what to do..." Jay pleaded again, pulling at the thick black fabric of the sweatpants he borrowed from Adam. "Wake up. I need your help. I need you..."
Jay decided to try again and gave Adam another light shove. The Orangeville native rolled over, mere inches from rolling off the bed, and rubbed sleep from his eyes. "What is it Jay?" came the groggy sleep filled voice.
"Uh,I-" Jay paused, looking at his friends confusion filled face and minutes passed, "Never mind, it's stupid. Just forget it and go back to sleep" Jay mumbled and turned to walk back to his spot on the floor. He jumped a little when a crack of thunder went off and a hand reached out and snatched his wrist.
Jays head whipped around to look at Adam and his blonde hair flew around his face. "You woke me up for something Jay. Tell me what's wrong before I kick the shit out of you." Adam let go off Jays wrist and stared intently at him.
Jay sucked his bottom lip in through his teeth and stared into Adams eyes before looking down at the floor. "It's the storm..." He mumbled, his bare toes nudging at the carpeted floor awkwardly.
"Is that all?" Adam asked and Jay nodded, "I can't sleep, I'm scared Adam. Really scared."
Adam pushed himself across the bed so he was pressed against the wall and lifted the blanket up motioning for Jay to get into bed with him. Jay stood there for a moment dumbly, as a shiver went down his spine just staring at the space that was offered to him, not knowing what to do. "But your parents-" Jay started to say but was quickly cut off by Adam, "I don't care, just get over here Jay."
It didn't take much convincing, "Alright." Jay mumbled and crawled slowly onto the bed, relishing in the sudden warmth. Smiling, Jay gave easier breaths as Adam covered him with the blanket. Another small crack of thunder went of and Jay shook, so Adam snuggled in close and draped a long arm over Jays side.
"Good night Jay."
