Summary: Benny and Ethan have been friends since they were six and have had feelings for each other for as long as they can remember but ever since Sarah came along it has gotten stronger and stronger. It's obvious in everyone's eyes but them; they are way too embarrassed to admit it to each other though. Ethan has been trying to avoid the love he has built up with benny so he tries (but not succeeding) to work building up his love for Sarah… So finally after a year Ethan has built up the courage to ask Sarah on a date.

The day of the date…

"Benny, I don't even know what to wear what do I do, help?!" Ethan announced through the video chat session.

"I don't know. I'm not going on the date…" benny mumbled with his chin resting in his hand.

Although Rory doesn't show up on cam his energized voice blared "Dude, how in the world did you score Sarah?! She doesn't go for geeks like us!" Rory explained.

Benny just sat there with a blank expression on his face playing with stuff on his desk, while Ethan ran around the room worrying about tonight.

"I don't know guys, I got to go" Ethan stated.

'Hours later'

Ethan walked outside his house greeted by Benny and Rory.

Benny's POV

"Ethan looked so adorable in his long sleeved gray shirt and his cargo pants, but face it I lost my chance." Benny thought to himself in disappointment… "is it too… bleeeh?... Ethan asked pointing to outfit. "No," Benny chuckled "You look fine, E!" Ethan tried to avoid the way he felt for benny so he just smiled at the ground…

Ethan's POV

"Well… wish me luck… boys" Ethan stuttered as he saw Sarah strolling toward them. She just smiled as she saw the boys. "Hey!" She greeted them in a very preppy voice. She walked right toward Ethan and gave him a short hug, Ethan looked very confused… "Hey" He said as his voice cracked. He cleared his throat. "So let's get going..." He questioned.

It was kind of weird having Sarah drive Ethan to the date… but Ethan tried to stay as positive as possible.

Once they arrived Ethan attempted to be a gentleman and got out of the car and ran over to the driver's side to open the door for Sarah but he stubbed his toe on the curb. "Ouch" he bit his lip. "Aw poor baby!" Sarah joked. Once they arrived inside and had been seated the waitress appeared to take their order "Awww, isn't that cute taking your girlfriend out to dinner" Said the short redhead. We're not- Ethan got cut off by Sarah "I will have a coke." "Uhhh Mountain Dew?" Ethan Asked. "Sure I will be right back. The waitress arrived back and they order their food. Sarah, Cesar Salad and Ethan, A veggie burger with fries. The entire dinner was silent and awkward… The whole dinner was chewing and smiling, and the whole time all Ethan could think about is his best friend. Once they split the check they both got up. "Finally" Sarah said underneath her breath. Ethan just acted like he didn't hear it. And the car ride contained of the radio and leg taping.

Sarah stopped the car in front of Ethan's house. "Thanks for keeping me company." Ethan stated. Sarah smiled and said "You too see you at school tomorrow"

Ethan climbed the stair and slowly opened up the door to see benny on his computer. "Hey B" Ethan Smiled.

"oh hey how did the date go?"

"Rather would have been here with you…"

"Really?"

"Yea it was so awkward…"

"Yea you were better off here with me" Benny teased

"Love you b" 3

"Yea right…" Benny continued to tease c;

And Ethan couldn't help but do his cute half smile. 3
