When the day starts out with demons, that's when you know it's going to be a bad day. Or, at least, that's always what the Charmed Ones assumed when half a dozen random demons appeared in their attic. Paige threw a potion at one, effectively making it disappear in a puff of fire and smoke.
"Chris!" Piper called out, willing her newfound son to appear to help them deal with the random demon horde. She blew up two demons before one of them threw an energy ball at her, just barely grazing her arm, but causing her to fall back into a hiding position. "Leo!" she resigned to calling out.
"No!" the only female demon yelled out. "We are here to capture, not kill!" Paige threw another potion, killing one while the female demon who cried out stabbed another, killing it. Soon, there was a familiar sound of someone orbing in. Leo and Piper's newly discovered youngest son stood before them.
"Wha-?" He started to say as an energy ball flew at his face. Piper froze it quickly. Another tinkling sound of orbing in was heard as Leo Wyatt materialized from the lights.
"I said, no!" the female demon shouted again, stabbing the remaining demon. She dropped the athame she had to the ground as the energy ball disappeared from the air and Chris stood there, staring at the young woman before him, shock etched into his face. Piper came out of hiding with Phoebe and began lifting up her arms to blow up what appeared to be the final demon.
"Wait," Chris told her and she lowered her hands, confused. "Mel?" It was a name and a question, and it was directed at the young woman standing before them. Did they know each other? She studied her surroundings, looking from each sister, to Leo, back to Chris, not even acknowledging his word, his whisper of her name.
"You know her?" Paige asked, annoyance, sarcasm, and fear all dripping in her words. "Why do your old demon buddies keep popping up in the past?"
"She isn't a demon," Chris answered, looking at Paige, and that's when Mel took her opening. She launched herself at Chris, knowing he wasn't going be to expecting it at all and before anyone could do anything about it, they were orbing out of there. But it wasn't Chris who was doing the orbing.
"What the hell just happened?" Pipe quipped, looking at her sisters and Leo.
Hello, everyone! I'm coming back with a weird bang, it looks like. I've been re-watching Charmed with my wife and this idea just popped into my head really. I have written fanfiction for Charmed when I was in Junior High, which was well over 10 years ago now, but I figured I'd go for something a little better than what a14-year-old girl could have written lol. I'll give you more information in the next chapter. :) I hope you guys will like this story.
