I had a plan for revenge that day. Revenge against that weasel Malfoy, who else? I brought my ipod to History of Magic. The teacher didn't notice, and even if he did he wouldn't know what the muggle invention was. I put my headphones in before class started.
I know you're thinking, "OMG Hermoine!1! your like so totes smart y u ignore teacher?" I already finished the book we were reading in class. And I did the report. With three extra pages.
So it was perfectly fine for me to not listen in on just one class, for the sake of annoying Malfoy.
I had downloaded a Europop album for the fun of it over the summer. They were known for their popular, dancey, single Caramelldannsen.
It was also known to annoy people, if hummed constantly for an hour class.
After Malfoy walked in, I sat there with my quill and a piece of parchment paper, absently doodling on it. This time the smirk was on my face.
By the end of class he was holding his hands over his ears, he looked like he was ready to slam his head into the desk repeatedly, just to get the song out of his head.
We were dismissed and I calmly put my ipod back in my pocket.
Draco almost sighed in relief and gathered his things. Before he left he leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear, "I didn't know you could be so evil Granger." His breath tickled my ear and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up straight.
He walked away his stride long, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
At breakfast in the Great Hall the next day, there were no petrified house elves under the silver platter covers; only scrambled eggs and toast.

This was the chapter when I did the ipod shuffle challenge. The song was the Caramella megamix specifically.
