The 4 Swords of the Sea

Chapter 1- The Black Pearl

A fine mist rolled over the ocean; casting ghostly shadows across the vast water. Off the bay of Port Royal, a piece of driftwood floated against the slow current. It stopped by a large black ship known as the Black Pearl. A figure tossed a lasso over the side of the ship, where it caught on the railing. It silently climbed the rope. With a dull thud, the intruder landed on deck. A long scimitar sword was silently pulled out of a blood-red sheath. It was elegantly crafted, with an extra notch on the back of the double-sided blade. The red-leather handle was tightly gripped in the intruder's hand. Overhead, the full moon cut through the fog and shone down upon the ship. She cautiously crossed the deck, making almost no noise with her black, knee-high boots. Heading towards the captain's quarters, she froze in mid-step. Someone was awake. She quickly retreated into the shadows. There were hushed voices coming from the helm. Cocking a black pistol, she waited and watched for any sign of movement. She crouched behind a wooden crate for what seemed like forever. The minutes slowly crept by, and the moon sunk in the dark night sky. After an hour, the voices faded and the only sound came from the ocean's waves. Behind her, a board creaked loudly. The intruder spun around and swung the scimitar. A sailor blocked the blow, but the force of the hit sent the sword flying across the deck. Just as she was about to advance on the unarmed pirate, she heard another person close-by.
"Hold it right there," whispered a voice behind her. Glancing over her shoulder, her bright blue eyes saw the notorious Captain Jack Sparrow. She felt a sword press against her white shirt. Another crewman drew a pistol and aimed it at her head.
"Drop your sword," Jack insisted. The stranger made no effort to release her firm grip on the scimitar.
"Drop your sword," he commanded, digging his cutlass deeper into her back. The sword penetrated her skin, causing crimson blood to trickle down. She still did not acknowledge his request.
"Very well then," with a sudden movement, Will Turner struck her with the butt of his pistol. She crumpled to the ground and her eyes saw no more.
