Seattle, 2006

I held the girls limp body in my arms as I finally drained her body, letting her fall to the ground as soon as I finished. I licked the blood that remained on my lips and turned to face Victoria and Laurent, both of which had already finished the other hikers. Victoria instantly walked to my side and brought her hand to my cheek. She frowned when I pushed her white hand away and started walking farther into the forest. "Let's move, I want to get to the next town soon." I said as I started running, fully knowing that they would follow. As I ran I tried to remember why we where even here, Washington? Better the Virginia, I had to admit that. Though all cities looked the same to me now, it was simply a menu to me. Laurent said that Washington brought forest grounds the hikers enjoyed, so it was easy pickings this time. We'd be out of here soon enough. Just like I had known that I would get out of Virginia, though I didn't think I'd leave like I did.
