A/N: Okay, so I'm trying to write things down ASAP because my summer is cramped with things (o.O), so I have to write as many F&E's as possible right now. This is my last free week (starting Friday, the sixth of July; ending Sunday, the fifteenth of July). So this one's for all of you guys who can actually enjoy their freedom T.T
DISCLAIMER: Don't own Harry Potter, this definition, or the song I'm listening to right now (INSPIREFull, Ayumi Hamasaki)
As a feeling, an epiphany is the sudden realization or comprehension of the essence or meaning of something. The term is used in either a philosophical or literal sense to signify that the claimant has "found the last piece of the puzzle and now sees the whole picture," or has new information or experience, often insignificant by itself, that illuminates a deeper or numinous foundational frame of reference.
Ron scratched his chin as he looked on at the puzzle Ginny had given him.
"If you're so good at Wizard Chess," she had taunted one day, "Why aren't you good at the puzzles I give you?" Ron had just shooed her away.
Now Ron thought that he was just stupid. He was on a very easy puzzle, one that was supposed to be for little kids. It was still hard though.
"Ronald?" Hermione came up to him. "Are you still on that puzzle? Why don't you come down to eat dinner?"
Ron shook his head. "Not hungry," he grunted. Everyone looked at him with worry.
"You're…you're not hungry?" Harry asked, setting his hand on Ron's forehead. "Are you okay?"
Ron looked up. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Hermione looked at him. "Well, it's just that…you're always hungry…I mean…the way you shoved that food down your throat in the first movie, I'll never know…"
"Well, bloody hell, I'm not a glutton!" Everyone snorted and sniggered. Ron just huffed and went back to his puzzle, and they eventually left him alone.
"Now, for the last two pieces…" he whispered, looking at the last two pieces. He stared in frustration. They both looked the same to him. He sat one of the pieces in the hole, but it didn't fit. He pried it out.
"Well, if that one doesn't fit, who says the other one will?" Ron looked at them again. They were Fred and George alike. Ron sighed and sat the other one in the hole. It fit.
"Well, if that one fits, then what about this one?" He stared at it as everyone came back from dinner.
"Oi, he's still doing that puzzle, he is," Seamus said. Hermione sighed and strode up to the concentrating Ron.
"Ronald, all you have to do is…"
"No, shush, I want to get it by myself! Leave me alone." At that, everyone came up and stared at him. Ron was so deep in concentration that he was sweating a little. As the sweat hit his pants leg, he jumped up and screamed out, "I know where it goes, I do!"
"You can do it, Ron!" the Gryfindoors cheered. Ron triumphantly put the puzzle piece…
"Ron, that doesn't go there…" Harry muttered into his ear. In fact, Ron had put the piece right next to the whole puzzle. The whole room was silent.
"Oh, right," Ron, blushing, put the last puzzle piece in the correct hole. Everyone cheered again.
Hermione and Ginny clapped their hands to their foreheads.
"How thick can you get?" Ginny exclaimed.
A/N: ahahahahhahahahahaaaaaaaaaa! That was perfect. You guys, I found out what that Geico song is when the caveman is on that little runway thing at the airport. You all know what I'm talking about. Anyway, it's called 'Remind Me,' by Röyksopp. It's awesome all the way through! You should go hunt it down lol.
