Clumsy Vampire?
Just after Bella had changed...
I opened my eyes. It was so CLEAR. I could see the tiny dust particles floating above the light and the beams of light hitting the dust, creating a rainbow with an extra colour I couldn't put my finger on. It was beautiful.
"Whoa ...." I murmured, this is was so ... different then I thought it would be.
Someone squeezed my hand and a musical voice spoke. "Bella?" I quickly turned my head to the sound and saw my angel. It was like the face I used to see as a human was just blurs compared what I can see now. So ... handsome.
Edward was holding my hand and looking at me warily, stressed. I flashed a wide grin. I was here forever, with him! The pain in his features disappeared and was replaced with joy.
I sat up, still holding his hand and noticed Alice, Esme and Rosalie standing behind Carlisle – who looked like he would explode from curiosity – and Emmett and Jasper. It took me a second to realise I was the danger here.
"Guys, it's fine." I said laughing and listening to bell-like sound my voice was now. Jasper and Carlisle still looked suspicious while everyone was smiling, especially Alice and Emmett.
"Seriously." I said chuckling, swerving around the bench and standing up when I ... fell? I stood up quickly and looked at Edward wide-eyed and saw he looked equally shocked.
The whole room was silent until Emmett boomed out "Clumsy Bells is back!"
Alice, Rosalie, Esme and Emmett were laughing while Jasper was rolling on the floor, nearing crying he was laughing so hard. Carlisle stepped forward with a very amused expression on his face.
"Bella, it seems your ... clumsiness has come through as a vampire too. It must of been a bigger part of your life than we thought it was." He couldn't help laughing at the end of that sentence.
"So, wait ... I'm going to be even clumsier?! How's that even possible?" I said crossing my arms and pouting angrily. Edward was laughing too as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Ah well, I guess you're just my beautiful clumsy little vampire now." He chuckled as I melted into his embrace.
Great. Just, just great. Clumsy Vampire. Yip-ee.
