Stressed

A/N: Okay so I was washing dishes and this idea came to me, I couldnt help it. I think Im going to make this into a series, just post some one-shots of these two, I hope you enjoy them, give me a series name if you have an idea for one.

The Iron Bull watched his Kadan quietly, he always watched and he grew more worried about him as time passed. Everyone always asked for Azar's help...for everything and Azar of course went out and did most of these requests himself. To top all of that off he also did reports and other things like that, Bull could see that all of the stress was wearing the elf down. He knew Azar was barely getting any sleep and looked ready to either fall over or burst into tears, he wasnt sure which would come first.

Finally he had enough of watching his elf work himself to death and he got up from his chair and went to Azars quaters, knowing he was still awake and doing reports. He came in and sure enough he was sitting at the desk, his chin resting in one hand while he wrote with the other.

"Kadan, you need to sleep." Bull says softly, Azar almost jumps out of his skin, having not heard his lover come in. Once he sees who spoke he relaxes and smiles tiredly, giving Bull a small shake of his head.

"I need to finish these reports...I swear if I don't they start reproducing on my desk." He says, sighing tiredly, his quill scratching lightly at the paper.

Bull sighed heavily and walked over, he took the quill from Azars hand and sealed the jar of ink, ignoring the elfs protesting. He picked him up, chuckling at his squeak of surprise, "No more work tonight, you need to sleep, Kadan." He says gently.

He sits down on the bed, holding the elf on his lap, chuckling at the pout that was on Azars face. He set Azar on the bed and grabbed his sleepwear and started to undress the smaller man, who protested, saying he could dress himself.

Bull stopped his hands, "Let me take care of you." He says, Azar hesitates, but then relents and lets Bull dress him before putting him in bed. Bull goes around the room, putting out the candles before climbing into bed with the tiny elf.

He smiles as Azar turns and snuggles against him, he holds Azar close, stroking his hair as the elf falls asleep rather quickly. He presses a kiss to his Kadans head and just watches him sleep for a while before falling asleep himself.

When the Bull wakes he finds Azar still snuggled against him...and that all the blankets had been stolen and Azar was wrapped up in them, looking quite happy. He held the blanket bundled elf against his chest and felt happy to be here with him, there might be a war out there, but in here they could just be themselves. With that thought he let himself doze off again, not minding that he was a bit chilled from the mountain air.
