Government Funded Research Project in the United States of America created the first Human Machine Hybrid on a prison inmate Volunteer using nanoprobe technology.
Date: January 15th, 2030:
Inmate has been showing curious behavior. Organization skills have increased but it seems as if it is on autopilot. Like it is more machine then man anymore.
Date: June 30th, 2030: We now have 30 inmates in our program. They all seem to work perfectly together without speaking. They act as if they are communicating telepathically.
Date: December 31st, 2030:
One of the, drones, as we are now calling them, escaped the containment room and grabbed one of the scientists. Dr. Collins is now a drone apart of the collective that they seem to have formed. We have informed the President of the Hostile nature.
Date: February 20th, 2031:
The President has ordered the drones onto a deep space vessel to be set on a course as far away from Earth as possible and has ordered all records of this experiment sealed. This will be my last entry on this experiment. All I have to say is What have I done….

Date: 2365: The Sentient Being named "Q" Introduces the Enterprise to the Borg in the Delta Quadrant. The Borg Queen recognized the species that the Collective originated from and swears revenge for their abandonment.
Date: 2367: The Borg Assimilate Captain Picard and Attack Wolf 359. The Borg are defeated when the Enterprise recaptures their captain and Lt. Commander Data creates a malfunction in the hive mind. 39 ships are lost and over 11,000 crewmen are lost.
Date: 2370: Borg kidnap and assimilate Captain Picard's Daughter.
2373: Borg Launch another Attack on Earth. They travel back in time to the time of first contact to stop it from happening. The Enterprise follows them and kills them when they stow away aboard the Enterprise. One incarnation of the Borg Queen is killed.
2374: The Borg Initiates the Perfect Drone Project.
2376: The Borg are seemingly defeated by Captain Janeway and Voyager when the Admiral Janeway from the future injects the Queen with an anti-borg pathogen
2380: Jean-Luc Picard's Daughter is found in the wreckage of a Borg Cube on Rura Pentha after the last remnants of the collective are eradicated.
