Zoey never understood fully why things led to where they are now, all she knew was that she mourned the death of 3 people. A friend, a grandfather and finally her uncle. Two out of three reasons for the losses she knew why but her uncle all she knew was that he fell down the stairs. Honestly before any other thoughts went into her head. She believed that's all she needed to know. The death was enough to send herself from her friend/uncle/and father into depression for a total of four weeks. Not a friend to talk to, Chloe had ignored her after high school...seemed that their own lives became too important even for best friends. To Chloe her relationships came first and she never realizes it but any new relationship makes herself change. Meanwhile Zoey put her own mind to work. She applied to college close to her home. She was keeping a promise to her grandfather and uncle. To graduate college...something she could do, right?
Zoey applied and got in. Chloe seemed to dissapear when she wanted to tell her. So when she told the rest of her family she was congratulated! A week later Zoey went on some site that shes been a member since forever. She met someone she knows in person. Zoey wrote in her diary the night before asking for a chance to meet someone, anyone. To her luck there it was, her moment and her chance. So she took the opportunity and wrote her back grinning ear to ear. Her name was Casey, Zoey learned so much just by knowing her. One day Casey was working and Zoey walked up to her and started talking. As she was talking she started becoming more smitten, smitten by every word that she spoke about in person. Zoey learned that day that all you had to do was say "hello".
Casey smiled as she talked to Zoey, when Zoey goes to get coffee at exactly 8:15am before her class she got some coffee. Casey makes sure to get her attention and shout hello...Zoey waves as she grabs her cup for her coffee. Chloe has seemed to dissapeared from the face of Zoey's world. "Oh well"...Zoey kept her thoughts to herself as she looked at Casey.
"Ive told my dad...Jalen...my little sister...telling Casey shouldn't be too hard..." Zoey whimpered..."It's only your whole love life and feelings at stake no big deal."
Zoey purchased her coffee and ran out the door. "I can't do this" She thought with tears falling down the front of her face.
