Yami walked through the front door of his apartment and sat down on the table.
Yugi walks in, puts his glass of milk down on the table and picks up the paper. He looks at the front page in disbelieve.
There is Yami's picture under the heading of "Man dies in tragic bridge accident"
"Noooooo" Yugi screams and starts to cry.
Yugi can't enter the idea into this head that Yami, his koi (his love) is really gone. He will never see him again.
He runs to the bedroom and starts to throw his things into a huge suitcase. He was going to stay at Joey's. He picks up a leather shirt of Yami's and cries into it.
"Yugi please what is the matter?" asked Yami running into the room. He didn't know what was wrong with Yugi. He was certainly distressed.
Yugi just kept on crying into his shirt.
"Yugi! Please tell me what's wrong?" he pleaded walking towards Yugi.
Yugi quickly shut his suitcase and ran out of the room, past Yami. He ran into the kitchen and grabbed his car keys off the table, knocking over his glass of milk in the process.
He looked around the room, one last time before going out the apartment door, leaving a trail of milk footprints behind him.
"YUGI! YUGI! COME BACK PLEASE! WHAT HAVE I DONE?" yelled Yami after Yugi.
He walked after Yugi into the milk, not noticing that he wasn't leaving any footprints at all.
Yugi chucked his suitcase into his blue Hyundai, hopped into the driver's seat and slammed the door. He locked the car, and put his head in his hands, to try to reduced the flow of his tears.
"YUGI!" yelled Yami banging his hands on the car window. "YUGI! PLEASE! COME OUT WE CAN TALK!" he yelled even louder and banged his fists harder on the window.
Yugi started the car with a roar of the engine, and drove off.
"NO YUGI! Yelled Yami running after the car. "YUGI COME BACK PLEASE! COME BACK!"
He slowed down his pace, as he was getting very puffed. Only to see Yugi's car run a red light, and the driver's side to smashed in by a huge truck.
Everyone around the crash site gasped and gawked.
"Yugi!" whispered Yami taking a step back, and falling to his knees. His face was pale as a ghost's and his eyes were wide with disbelieve.
"YAMI!" yelled Yugi, running towards his koi.
"YUGI!" yelled Yami spreading his arms open to embrace Yugi.
"I love you Yami," whispered Yugi into Yami's ear. "We'll be together forever."
"I love you too Abiou, I'll never ever leave you, we'll be together forever."
And with that Yami and Yugi got up and walked hand in hand back towards their apartment, towards the sunset.
