Author's Notes:

Hey everyone! This is the author here, Natsumi! :D Anyways, I decided to write a small drabble on my second favorite Vocaloid pairing, Gumi/Rin. I hope it gets more love! Thank you for reading. ^^

Disclaimer: I don't own Vocaloid. I wouldn't trust myself with something that powerful.

Carry Me Home

Gumi/Rin/Len Drabble

The girl in your arms is small, so small; it's no wonder she's just so (w o n d e r f u l l y) broken. Of course seeing the one she loves so much with someone else doing the sort of things lovers (not that she would evernonever say that word) do. She complains, and the tears (along with the wetness of your shirt) increase.

It's an average scene for you. Her heart is broken so many times it's like an old favorite movie. You say the usual "Don't worry; it was probably a misunderstanding" and when you're certain she's convinced herself otherwise, you change your tactics to "He doesn't deserve you anyways".

And finally, you're letting out your true feelings too.

Because the truth- the real truth- about this all-too familiar situation is that you are caught up in the exact same situation as the girl in your arms. Only, you can't cry, because whenever you feel the tears start to build, she's always gone, always with him.

You hate him for it. He breaks her heart so often it just doesn't heal anymore. He makes her suffer, and then uses her so much more, and then the cycle repeats. The scene just continues to replay itself.

(So, the tears come so often, your shirt doesn't even attempt to dry anymore.)

Though you hate him oh so much, you know deep down that you love him for doing this to her. The one time she will truly hug you, and completely be grateful to you, and acknowledge your love for her is right then and there. All other moments are for him, and you know it like the back of your hand.

So, you hold her, and whisper, and reassure that everything will be all right. She'll make up with her brother, and finally capture his attention from his girlfriend of the month, and find forever with him. It will be all right.

And on the inside, you beg God to let it not be.
