Brandon's Poem To Stella

A shaft of sunlight streaming from life-sphere
shining on rivers, splashing on seas
sparkling diamond that dazzles
the spectator who must stare on
as the silken moth who seeks the flame
caring not that his wings catch fire.

Thou the shining sun, I the silken moth
who knows no wherefore, who knows no why
lured on by thy light
touching thought mode, binding flaxen thread
winding filament of female warmth.
